9 Science/Turn at Turn 111 is rather painful :p

I think the 0% slider was only going to be until he got all the Ziggurats built, which were going to save his economy? The land is nice enough for him to bounce back under good management. This would be easier to assess if he were using Detailed City Info.

Lol, its just an amazingly good map I got as Gilgamesh on Emperor difficulty, I've been playing it for the last few days to practice rexing without Fin or Org on a high difficulty.

I'm just playing the map over and over again to try and beat my previous rex records, I already kind of won it by having the highest score in 1860 AD (largest pop + land size, great economy:)

I'm trying to rex as many cities as I can in the BCs, firstly I could only manage 8, then 10, now I just did 11 and am already starting again to try for 12 :D

Give me Hannibal + GLH plus loads of space and I can get 16 cities built in the BCs without my economy going negative. Now I'm trying out non fin / org civs (I want to learn to comfortably win on Immortal with Gilgamesh, Sury or Catherine).

I think the 0% slider was only going to be until he got all the Ziggurats built, which were going to save his economy?

This basically. My next challenge - 12 cities, Great Wall in Capital (Gilgamesh + Espionage economy = Fun!), GLH in second City without going into the red by 250 BC (and Ziggurat construction x 12 starting on whatever turn 250 BC is).

Ziggurat Spam MK2 .... Slightly better ... 300 BC, 12 Cities, economy = broke :D

..... Next 500 BC! ... Is that even possible with two wonders on top? :x

(Notice the lack of forests around Uruk in the second attempt :p).

I hate imageshack. The images there always get deleted after some time and with imgur when I click with the middle mouse button on them to see the rest of image on the right, it doesn't link me to their website. At least remove the urls from the images please.

I was updating the image links in the last minute or two, thats why :D

Meh, playing every turn 100% perfect allowed me to complete the same 12 city rex just one turn later with 2 fewer workers and no use of Slavery. (I had 8 workers for the 300 BC rex, and just did it with 6 by 275 BC).

I switch to Slavery after the Rex to whip the Ziggurats :)

Victory by any means necessary! I was going for a Culture Win, but so was Ramesses. He was eventually able to take a semi-permanent lead over me, so I had to spend last stretch of the game pulling him out of Free Speech and causing his cities to revolt to try and slow him down. He's of course Spiritual, so I didn't have Anarchy to help me while I pulled him between civics. Needless to say, after a a few turns he wasn't very pleased with me anymore:

Despite all of that, he still reached Culture Victory one turn after me. :king:
Weak :p

In my current SG ( cue link for self promotion  ) I have -13 modifier atleast with all of the alive AI due to caught spies and one is currently at -18 ...

Anyway, that is what you get with 600+ spies built so far and 150ishs alive :D

P.S Will post a pic tonight when I get home :p

Considering the entire POINT of that SG is to use spies to win...
Actually ... no :D The point is to get full conquest without putting a foot outside our territory ( read the SG rules ). I just decided to use a far more spy centered aproach than others prior to me ( like Sullla , that done the same thing in vanilla ...on a smaller map, to be honest ) To be honest, I think we got more cities via Apostolic palace or peace deal than through direct filp :p

wrong thread - duh

Yup, but the nuke scaling in diplo is linear ( or almost ) while in the spy sector ... well, those quite minor diplo demerits compared with nukes represent 500 caught spies. I wonder how the AI would love me if I had dropped 500 nukes on top of them :p

Spies would be easier - they're a lot cheaper to build than nukes!
