Got taken out by a wave of barbs. Oh well, less religious warfare in that game!

The irony meter just exploded.

You are quite a fan of the Dutch, aren't you?
You are right to be so, they rock on archipelago :p

Yeah it is (like greece) but seeing though bython's second city was there I thought I should make use of the extended map :p...

And the dutch are generally good :p

Well I got an easy Conquest win my last game so I started up the same map with the same Civ and everything so as to go for Culture. Built the Great Wall and it has done something I have never seen it do before. I guess its because those Crabs in the South can't be trusted.
Spoiler :

It's Canada, so there's probably some kind of quota. :p

I guess I am missing the joke on the second pic, the one of the log. At first I thought it was the same year that the American president was actually impeached but that was just me mixin up the numbers cause that was 1868 not 1886. So I guess I missed the joke in that log.

Fastest kill ever?

Started right next to Korea, and I mean RIGHT next to them. After our exploring warriors met and got a space between them I realized his city was undefended and I was closer to it than he was to mine.

I would have done it in my last 2 games as Canada seeing as America starts right outside my starting BFC but seeing as the New World has very few Civs already I figured its better to leave him alive for a while so as to have 2 Civs to trade with (along with Cuba) so as to not have me fall to far behind the Old World in teching before we meet.

Yeah, I figured I wasn't the first, but it's definitely a personal best. I've been in a position to do it before, but never where I was 100% sure their warrior wouldn't get to my city first. :D

Are you guys gonna settle on that island or not? Both of you have been there for like 1000 years, and my Great Lighthouse can't even take advantage of that anymore, because it's expired. :p And why do both of them have 2 settlers each?

I think what's funniest is how you have a galley, maceman, and longbowman.

And you're researching mass media. :p

He just never bothered to upgrade as he never was in danger of losing cities they were defending/didn't need to upgrade them.

I know, I've done the same thing. I just found it funny to see someone else do it.

I do it a lot. In a recent game I played, I had conquered the world and I had a warrior defending my capital, archers in most of my cities and a whole axeman on a copper that was stationed there a couple of thousand years ago to stop the barbs. I had just prevented an invasion of my territory.

Well, I'm not gonna pay gold to upgrade that galley; that island is so close anyways. And that turned out to be one hell of a disappointing island.

Anyhow, I was imaging that Justinian and Victoria were talking about how to split the island but as you can see that's not possible. ;)
