Yes, I was Julius. I was playing Vanilla, so....
And don't criticize, I was trying something.

Okay. I read that and promptly mouse-hovered over the Roman flag to see if he was playing as Julius or Augustus. In a screenshot.

Perhapsibly I should get some sleep.

I do that!! Esp on stories, when they show a tech discovery Screenshot, I click Continue..

I'm SO making a group for that now.

I've attempted to click on some of my own screenshots before.

More fun with Irony!

This one was Warlords, Augustus. Carthage already had a second city.. rats..

This seems strangely familiar...

It is a little known fact, but the UN General Assembly doesn't know how to do math.

germany voted never (if you are commenting on the all required votes but not passed)

Yes, strangely defying a resolution forces everyone else to reject the resolution even if they all want to accept it. This has always annoyed me. Denying the resolution should a) occur after voting no but being overridden by the other nations and b) only affect your nation. You pay the :( penalty--you get to avoid being subjected to the tyranny of the majority, but everyone else should be free to gain the benefit for which they voted.

If "never" didn't overrule the yes vote, it would be a bit unfair when 1 civ voted "never" for the nuclear non proliferation treaty... they might cop some unhappiness, but they would have a pretty significant military advantage!

The way I see it is that the vote is for _everyone_ to commit to something. If someone defies the resolution, it invalidates the vote - because the vote was about binding all nations. If not all nations are onboard, then that might not be what people want.

Brennus cutting off the nose to spite the face, I see.

Don't you draw some sort of economic benefit from your vassals? If so, don't you think you'd WANT them to trade with the people you trade with?

I had one the other day were a civ asked to declare war on their own vassal. I just clicked a fast No, though it would have made a great screenie.
Apparently the AI does diplomacy in the beginning of the turn. then the second AI capitulates, but when its your turn, they havent been "corrected"

Spoiler :

Gee it wouldn't have anything to do with the fact you fail as a Leader and only managed to get 2 cities up and have a very puny army would it?

Spoiler :

So the AI beats me to Liberalism. So what awesome tech does it pick? Gunpowder? Biology? Something else that's useful? See for yourself. (the entry in the log directly below the saying of who got Liberalism is the clue)
