I took Ragnar's lands north of this place and attacked the Roskilde as well.
Due to the war weariness and massive unhappiness it caused, I had to stop the war before destroying the Vikings at all.
Oslo, city to the north of Roskilde, looking by where it was placed, probably didn't build many culture buildings (4 hammers/per turn at best). By the look of the it's cultural borders, I think it had between 15-100 culture. To counter the Viking culture, I was using some artist specialist and this is how the borders shaped

I figured it was some sort of glitch I would never see again (never having seen it before), when what do you know, less than 50 turns later:



I think what happened was I destroyed their worst enemy the same turn, before going to talk to them. I don't really remember though

I had a GMinor 70 game (deity, religious, small map) where Ragnar liberated a city to me and then next turn DoW'd and took it back. That was a loss

Took me a minute to get that one! I thought vassals weren't supposed to do their own diplomacy?

Zara isn't only a vassal but a colony (as the unusual color shows).

Vassals can do everything except gift cities (that's why BUG doesn't show vassal's # of cities), declare war/peace and even have enought on their hands
