I know some have been looking at Churchill titles for expansion name inspiration, but maybe they mix in some Dickens with "Great Expectations"? Something starting with "Great" seems a more fitting title for a final expansion than "Gathering Storm"

What about Civ VI: Plus Ultra, which is Further Beyond. That would be a good name for a final installment.

those trolls. they are toying with us!
...though if this really was deliberate it makes me confident in believing there will be another expansion. they wouldn't risk fostering disappointment like this else.

also, there must be a hint here somewhere...

Well, the colonization card could also be a hint. Although that makes me a little nervous that they're going to announce a spin-off, not an expansion

mhrm... is velitrae early on the Roman city list? doesn't seem like a city you see often.

it's also assumed the birthplace of Augustus... hrm... Magnus... the great....

I'm picturing Ed Beach in charge of the tweets himself posting and laughing to himself.

I'm pretty sure it's Dave Hinkle at 2K, actually.

Civ VI: Non Plus Ultra, Expand emotions to the point of no return ...

All anyone can do is baseless speculation, so any guess is as good as anyone's.

I had suggested giving them the Maori's pre-city Science and Culture bonuses and some 1st city boosts, then give them a Tundra starting bias but desert-favoring abilities to inspire them to wander a bit before founding their capital.

I'd really like to see one of the Dene subgroups, if not Navajo then Apache could be good.
I really appreciate the Cree being in the game, but hoping for another, maybe more classically "Native American" people, like the Chinook, Comanche, or maybe even having a (better researched) Iroquois comeback.

That said I also wouldn't mind if the decision were made based on famous leaders, like Pontiac, Tecumseh, or Geronimo.

(edit: or, you know, anyone in my signature.)

This whole topic reminds me of this scene from Borat:
I see Firaxis marketing team laughing at us saying lalalalalalala lalalalalalala
I just wonder do someone finally will break the cage :)
BTW
The last thought is 100% true dear Firaxis friends. This is not funny not only in America but everywhere. Even in Kazahstan :)

The Navajo are not "Native" to the U.S. Southwest but Northwestern Canada having migrated to their current "Lands" (along with their linguistic cousins the Apache) about 1450, where they learned farming and herding from the Hopi/Pueblo peoples.

So that explains why there is a people in Northwest Canada that call themselves the "Dené" while the Navajo call themselves the "Diné".

You guys are reading waaaaay too much into these cross platform advertisements!

They aren't even platform-specific. They're just generic advertising.
