nice catch

This news is OnLive, a cloud-based gaming provider showing G&K in their booth. It's different from 2K Games saying they'll show G&K.

Still good news: the OnLive booth most likely allows trying their games.

Great find I hope they show some online video of gameplay about the AI and its supposed new capabilities. Hopefully it will not be a rerun of what we have known for months.

And Greg did confirm that more info is comign "very soon" on Twitter (yes, I still pester him :D )

Greg also mentioned on the official forums that a patch will be released "soon". I assume that they will release the patch before the release of G&K to take some load of the Steam servers on release day, and I also assume that with 18 days to got the the G&K release, the point where they have to send the completed build to the company that creates the DVDs can't be more than a few days, maybe a week, away.

Whatever is going to be shown at E3 is going to be the release build, except for some bug fixes.

Good to hear. I wonder what they'll tell us now, we have 18 days left before release. Time will probably crawl from now on. :(

It hasn't been crawling for you for the past 3 weeks? Lucky! :(

Not so much, I've been keeping quite busy. My mistake was looking at the date today.

Okay, so we've already got word of a 3rd party showing G&K off, but a post on the 2K blog ( http://www.2kgames.com/blog/2k-is-live-at-e3-2012 ) about E3 is tagged with Civilization V, which leads me to think that we'll be seeing more of G&K there

Actually, isn't that more interesting news?

Is OnLive picking up Civ 5 as a title? Would that mean that the game hosted on OnLive reduces the need for a power PC (haha.. not intended)? But still a good interweb connection.

Oddly enough, the 2k blog doesn't mention G & K, but does talk about three other games. Surely they won't miss it out, given the release date is around the corner!!??!!

Remember: the President of 2K thinks that shooters on consoles are the only thing that matters.

So it's not surprising in the least.

Fair enough. If the President of 2k were to spend a moment looking at the forums he would see over a hundred people on the Civ 5 forums and literally one or two people on each of the other forums. Then again, when people believe they're right, they don't always notice what's right in front of them!

I think it's already on OnLive...or at least I thought we heard something about that.
More important: OnLive recently announced (IIRC) that they want to use their service for demo-ing games too...
