Don't give those Idiots anything! Let them tell the Donuts how many shields we have on each tile. We are going to kill the Donuts off anyway, so the knowledge will be lost forever when we destroy them.

Dear Sirs,

I am sorry to inform you that we do not wish to accept your recent trade *offer*. Tell the cake eaters what ever you want, we do not care.

If you truly want to learn the skills of laying brick on brick from us we will teach you if in return you teach us how to draw sounds. Writing for masonry, straight up.

We can teach you numbers to crunch
But we're an illiterate bunch
So let's make a deal,
we'll throw in a wheel
and then we'll have doughnuts for lunch!

Excellent Limerick, and they hate us with a passion, good answer.

Likely, this game will play out with Greeks and Iron vs Iroqis and Galls, non-agros vs agros, which is quite sad, given the extreme advantage given to agro civs in C3C.

I did not accept this offer.

Here is the reply I've sent to them:

Greetings!

Thank you for your recent offer of mysticism for math. I am sorry that I cannot accept it at this time. Since we had no advance knowledge of your offer my people have had no time to discuss it and I cannot take it upon myself to make such a momentous decision. My people will talk over your offer and we will let you know our decision by next turn.

I can tell you that we have had some discussion on this matter already and I do know that we would take writing or both mysticism and horseback riding (if, of course, your people possess the latter secrets). We never discussed trading math for either mysticism or horseback riding alone. :(

If you are willing to change your offer next turn to give us either (writing) or (mysticism and horseback riding) I can assure it is within my power to accept such a deal. Otherwise we can haggle a bit more. :)

Hi there, do team TNT have any interest in trading for CoL and Philo? If so, what would come our way?

Who the heck are the Celts? I thought they were the Galls!

Why don't we offer them horseback riding for code of laws? We obviously don't need philosophy.

Do we have an emissary to team KISS?

yeah, we have an embassy with them, but they paid for it. :D

i guess we could offer them HBR for CoL. it can't hurt to try. just send the deal, don't accept it.

Greetings Daghdha,

We are quite interested in learning about the Celtic code of laws, though we are quite satisfied withour own Ironic philosophy. There is a minor tribe living on our lands who call themselves Iroqi. Their warriors ride around on four legged beasts called horses. We can teach your people to do this in return for a copy of your code of laws. The offer of horseback riding has been sent.

Regards,

We can still offer the Galls horseback riding and currency so they must not have those techs yet. KISS is currently in anarchy and our military is average compared to theirs.

It appears they went for the Philo Gambit and suceeded. They then picked up Republic and will soon switch to that said government. Not good! I suggest using that curragh to go around KISS's territory to find out how many cities they have and what their land looks like. I say go around their continent in a Southward direction.

We could also leave a curragh or something up blocking the way for either them to come across to our patch of grass or the iroqi to meet them.

Dear emissaries from the great nation of all exploding things,

It has come through our entwining grapevines that you are researching Construction. After that great monument in your city of Simtex, the gods should have just immediately granted you this technology. We are coming to offer a trade for Construction once you finalize the last bits of research.

Our mystics have divined that we know some technologies that you might not have. Every tech in this most Ancient of Ages except the art of Monarchy and the aforementioned Construction are currently under our skullcaps. We are willing to make an equitable trade. We could even help get you up to speed, if the price is right.

Also, we'd like to propose a deal for your free tech of the Middle Ages. Upon Construction being researched, we could give you the art of a higher government for your free tech. Just something to be thinking about. Please feel free to offer something else that you might think is equitable

Thanks for your time,
Tubby of the Idiots

Do we have an ambassador to the Galls?

In our current deal with the greeks aren't we about to agree not to give out any techs of ours, or is that with just them?

Yes, we're planning to agree not to trade construction to the Iroqi or Galls. We haven't signed the deal yet (I think). Perhaps we should hold off on signng that deal till we see our turn. Part of our peace deal on the table with the nuts is an offer of currency. If the Galls actually have all the ancinet age techs there must have been a recent deal. They still needed currency and horseback riding a turn or two ago. It could be the Iroqi were in on this trade as well. There's a post in the *who will win* poll about the Nuts hanging on till they get knights.

i don't think we should trade construction to the Galls. they are our enemies and they are already stronger than us, no reason to stregthen them. they will most likely trade construction around to the Nuts to help them get to Chivalry quickly. and don't forget we have a deal ready to be signed that would prevent us trading construction to other teams. i don't we should upset MIA, when we told them they shouldn't sell techs to KISS and D'Nuts, and then we do it. also, we have to play up our SCI edge. propelling them into the Middle Ages would not exactly be using one of our few advantages wisely. ;)

Anyone care to respong to the Idiots? Just a message saying we're discussing their generous offer would be fine for now.
