Beer makes your body strong

Nothing like a good micro. Couple years back, my wife and I went out on the whale watching cruise in the North Sound out of Seattle. It made a lunch stop at Friday harbor where I had a local micro that was actually bannana flavored and it was great. Unusual, but great!

We've got a fun microbrew out in Delaware called Dogfish Head, they make a lot of weird beers, probably 3/4 of them are on a seasonal rotation. The best, IMO, is called "Midas Touch Ancient Ale," it tastes like a cross between a wheat beer and mead. And at 10% abv, who can argue?

Their signature is a 60 minute IPA, quite tasty, and I generally don't do pale ales.

Living in the PacNorthwest, it's easy to take microbrews for granted. So many people from the East Coast have told me how awesome it is here as compared to back East where the only good beer available most of the time is Yuengling.

I could walk to a decent microbrewery from here. They're all over the place these days.

Concluding that human heart health is improved by beer showing anticlotting properties in dog veins. Makes sense.

unfortunately alcohol's not good for women with estrogen based breast cancer, and they're at greater risk for bone weakness because of the treatments. But silicon can be had in other ways...

To quote Homer Simpson: "Beer, the solution to, and cause of, all of life's problems"

Dear God, what kind of beer are you drinking?

German beers are the best, because of the purity laws. German beer can only have hops, barley, and water as ingredients. Nothing else.

As I've just checked most of brands here are of UK/Belgium/Czech/US origin (SABMiller, AB InBev, Miller, etc), some of Russian. I couldn't find German...

It's a good thing I have this wonderful Nut Brown from Ridgeway to strengthen my bones tonight. The Warm Welcome was quite good this year.

Dogfish Head makes some really excellent beers. The Palo Santo is the best of the ones I've tasted, though I've never had many of their offerings (the one you mention included). Have you tried the 120 minute IPA? It's probably the most intense beer I've ever tasted. I doubt I could finish half of one.

For every good beer they make they also make an undrinkable beer. Raison d'etre is close to the worst thing ever put in a bottle.
