To reproduce the bug simply load the attached save and end the turn. You will most probably CtD.
I am lagging a bit behind in the tech race, so Suleiman beat me and launched his space ship 4 turns ago. But if you check the event log in 1991 it says that "Eirik (player) has launched their spaceship!" and not Suleiman. Odd. This bug may or may not be related to the CtD bug. Also of note is the fact that four nations declared war on each other on the previous turn (probably resulting in a lot of movement that may result in a bug).
As this is my first game to the end I do not know how long it takes for a spaceship to reach Alpha Centauri, but 5 years seems a bit short? So I expected the turn to end as normal. If it indeed takes 5 years to reach Alpha Centauri, then I would expect a loss screen.
I played with no mods active - so vanilla BtS.
European release - so not patched with 3.02 (as it states it is only to get the US version in line with the European one)
