Everytime I try regardless of computer, the game crashes.

Wow, we're that close, really? I figured there would be several islands separating us but this thing turned out bigger than I expected. Can I quickly wrap around the north, or does it go way up into tundra and ice and would I be better off just turning around to find you (and Hercules)?

For future reference, that's not a hugely smart move in multiplayer games, at least before you've met everyone on your continent. Keeping your monopoly on Alphabet is a good thing - it makes everyone have to trade with you (for a few turns at least) as opposed to other people. That's sort of the whole benefit to sacrificing other techs to beeline Alphabet. By trading it away to everyone else right away, you're effectively saying to them "okay, don't trade with me, go trade with someone else and let them get the benefits".

Anyway, just thought that was worth mentioning. As the only other person on our continent (I think) who previously had a monopoly on Alphabet, I'm disappointed that you've crushed its value for both of us.
