Game Saturn

(By the way, I think a couple of turns of Anarchy caused by an accidental religion switch are far more reason for a reload than some beakers put into the wrong tech... but I digress.)

Pretty similar (i.e. whoooops) if the guy actually has no clue of game mechanics, though seriously something I would expect Dux to know. But if he didn't... bleh, reloading is always a pain.

I understand where you're saying, but perhaps Elucidus won't mind undoing the accidental waste of a literal thousand beakers in a close game. ;)

I really wouldn't mind. While I'd say my situation was a bit more serious (2 bouts of anarchy, plus the loss of religion bonuses for 5 turns), it's roughly analogous.

I'd assume just reloading to some point before the turn flip would let you login and change your research? So no need to go all the way back to your prior turn, just back to the last player to play last turn.

It would probably help Elucidus, if we suggest the autosave that is best for the reload.

Please correct me, if I'm wrong, but I think that reload should be taken from the hellhound's log in from the previous turn.

The problem occured during the last turn flip, right? Then yeah, right before hellhound's move makes perfect sense. (unfortunately hellhound might be asleep/at school by the time elucidus comes back so it may take a while...)

It is currently stuck on the diplomacy screen, but unpause it if you want, I will get massacred either way :(

Yeah, reloads effect random things like that. I recall one turn I used a missionary and it succeeded, then the turn flipped back and when I replayed the missionary failed, and then a server crash let me retake my move and the missionary succeeded. :p

Just like to quell the concerns of any cautious peoples out there, my recent crazy bouts of whipping are just me playing with my new toy to get through the industrial revolution in record time, and not preparations for aggression. :whipped:

So no need to preemptively strike :p

Quick, everyone dogpile him before it's too late! :p

The 3.19 patch is out. However, I suggest we don't all patch straight away, since there might be some issues with upgrading the game to a different version. Since we're starting to head towards the end of the game, it might even be worth playing out the whole thing in 3.17. Thoughts?

Those who want to get 3.19 can always do a dual install, so that they can still play in 3.17 games.

Fair enough, it's a pain to have some games running on one patch and others on a different patch. Best to patch all the games at once if we do it at all. :)

Hmm, I couldn't connect before when Toch was logged in. Fine now though.
