Games you want Sequels to

This is a thread to discuss which games you would really like sequels to.

Please note that it should be a game that isn't popular enough for game developers to make or something of that sort. (Which means no Halo, GTA, or Resident Evil sequels) And of course, no already announced sequels.

Here are the five I would really like sequels to:

1. Stubbs the Zombie

2. Simcity 5

3. Psychonauts

4. World in Conflict (Expansion)

5. Company of Heroes (Expand the series)

Just to tell you, WiC is going to receive a mini-expansion pack soon.

Im telling you guys! If CoH would add a russian expansion the whole game would make another killing.

WiC is going to have an add-on pack that takes the fight to Russia!

I've never heard of it............sadly, my comp can't handle WiC......

Sorry for the late reply, doctor's orders to avoid computers as much as possible.

Yes, I use paper sometimes. Quite often it is making estimations of how much resorces/pop I'll gain from a qonquest, notes on my military preparations and
potentual gains from throwing myself into the Industrial Revolution, etc. Most often, they are timetables on when to move my units and where in a war. You may think this is exessive, but when this war involves around 7 different fronts and you move everything in manual, some planning is required.

I often play massive maps, and I don't let up on the ol' micromanagement just because I 40-odd cities - some 90% of the time there is at least 1 AI who is right on my heels, and it is usally a nation like the Zulus or Mongols (Nearly every game I play seems to turn into a bloodbath). Consistantly dominating the world in the Modern Age seemed to me to be a sign to up the difficulty. Although I do admit I do enjoy seeing 1940 fighting 1840 from time to time.

Thanks, I'll look into Red Orchestra. I was looking more for a game with more of a solo story mode though.

I do the paper thing sometimes, mostly for CoH, I usually do a really basic write up of the map on a paper and then do really scribbly basic plans on that. They have a mega-map in the game, but I cant draw stuff on it quickly, and it over informs me of the battle field, i just want the basics.

I'd actually like Earl Weaver Baseball to have a sequel (or, next in the series, rather). It's an old game from the late 80s (never played EWB II, but I heard it was worse). I have yet to play a baseball game that's even as good as EWB. Out of the Park comes close, but doesn't have an actual in-game simulation (it only uses a static background). It was probably the first game that even allowed you to really customize a stadium (one of the first to use polygons, and animated stands I think). That was a game that was ahead of its' time with all of the features it had. So far, every baseball game I've played either has bad play control, limited features, etc.

Sim Life and Sim Earth are getting their sequel - SPORE. :)

Master of Magic -> hands down

Darklands --> the first open ended game that I know of

Arcanum --> wonderful combination of magick and technology in an adventure

After playing a few rounds of Stronghold:Crusader today I would really like a sequel to it. (Stronghold 2 doesn't count. That game was a disgrace.)

I crave a Glover sequel, the N64 classic. For wii, of course. With glove controller.

Ditto.

What made Stronghold 2 bad? Wikipedia doesn't tell me squat.

Einhander

It was a rather obscure side scrolling game that had some "3D" aspects.

Yeah, Stronhold 2 has nice terrain, the buildings aren't as nice and the unit graphics are HORRIBLE. As well it was released telling you to download the patch... and there's still some bugs and problems although it has a couple of nice new features (like estates).

Stronghold is still the best of the series, Crusader seemed more like Age of Empires and lacked sieges.

Masters of Orion
Galactic Civilizations
