Careful with those stats Steph - the American economy is HUGE, so it is able to handle a larger negative current acc't balance than smaller countries. As a % of their GDP, the US might not be so bad (I don't know).

I'm surprised about Australia. They're part of the Anglosphere, yes, but they have a lot of raw materials... I guess it's not a lot in terms of value add.
