Timer is screwed up once again. Played my turn just after their turn ended and only 59 mins left..Have paused it.

I reloaded last turn due to Civ players complaining, so Ras and Donovan need to play their turn with 2 hours on clock....if not I will play it for them.

Sorry about this but it had to be done as they missed turns for 2 players and were complaining about the reload.

Anyone else have problems starting Hamachi today? It just hangs on the initial 'Starting Hamachi' screen then the application exits silently...

I'll try it on a different PC.

(Rebooting my PC fixed the problem).

Also, I am going to be out of the country for about 3 weeks starting early next week, and won't have access to civ.

Can one of the other turn players (or lurkers?) play for me, or should I look for a sub?

I'm also going to need temporary subs for a couple of other games that I'm in (Cavaleiros, Realms Beyond, Global Lakes and Highlands, Provolution) if anyone's interested or available, just let me know.

The game will be down from 25/12/2009 to 06/01/2010 as I wil be away and cannot leave the server running while I am away.

Gitbliss I use as my online name when I play league games and Indiansmoke I use for civ fanatics. I was using Indiansmoke everywhere at some point but about a year ago there was a problem with some guy impostering players online. He seemed to like me and was using my name (indiansmoke) making fake reports and joining games under my nick...so I had to change the nick and kept it like that since then.

I was able to connect to the game but got a warning about my version of the game files not matching the host's; do you know if there's a way to see which files it thinks are mismatched? I had unloaded all mods before connecting so I thought there wouldn't be any modified files on my machine.

I'll try again when I get back home in a few hours with a clean reinstall of the game.

got it - thanks! I reinstalled the game tonight and was able to connect normally afterwards.
