Hi, Here it's my first unit, a german Sturmtrooper. I've made it following uthajazz's tutorial, I got tired of the Spanish Pikeman (at spain all the pikemen are spanish) and began this german camo soldier. I'm going to use it for a fascim goverment wonder, to be produced each 5 turns.
I hope you like it, I've tested it and I think it works fine, any feedback will be welcome.

----Edited,new attack flic andvictory sound-----

I dont like the musketeer like boots, but I haven't found better poser's props...

Now the victory sound is "enemy is weaked" from RTCW multiplayer

Un saludo,

Amazing! I wish I could make units. :mischief:

Perfect for a first! Welcome to civfanatics! :D

Hey, the unit looks great. I'm glad that my tutorial is paying dividens. I think this is a great replacement for some of the cut-n-paste WWII units out there.

A couple of pointers based on the preview.

1. The feet seem to slide at times, rather than the unit stepping (e.g. victory animation). This might have something to do with the angle of the preview though.

2. The muzzle flash seems just a wee bit too big for the size of the gun. The light reflecting back on the unit looks great though.

3. What I do when I want just regular boots is this. I use the PDM Shoes to cover the paperdoll's feet. Then I use the boot with the pointed toe to cover the shin and make the feet invisible. Then when the shoes and boots are the same color, it looks like they are just normal boots--not musketeet boots.

Finally we can get rid of that old nonob garbage.

Thanks!!
It's been hard to do, but the uthajazz's tutorial and kinboat's models are fantastic. I plan to use the animations and models I've modded to do some variations (wintercamo and officer). I also plan to do a romero's classic zombie.

At first, thanks again for the tutorial, it's been fun to follow it.
Yes,the victory animation was the hardest (no tutorial ;) ), and I used a low YTrans for the foots, I'll try to fix it for furthers animations.
You're right about the muzzle flash, I'm going to fix it.
About the boots... I've used the pointed boots trick for a personal joke model I'm doing (Ilsa shewolf), but my model is based on a Kinboat's taimsuit, the pants are perfect for a sturmtrooper but are too short for the pointed boots.
I've tried a trick and this is the result:

I don't like it too much..., I need more props and figures
Thanks for your feedback, I'll update the attack animation and upload it asap.

Un saludo y muchas gracias,

I love zombies but I'm a newbie. If I get a good model I'll do a officinist zombie with a gun.

But WTH is that victory sound? German??

I take the victory soud from a lovely videogame, return to castle wolfenstein, thereis a lot of "Amerrikanen!!", "Schnell" and other B-series-movies-evil-nazi sound stuff.
It's meingut or something similar (mein gott?), does it means "my god" or "oh, dios"? perhaps the soldier don't like to kill persons if you find a better sound, please, share it and I'll update the .zip
I also take the machinegun sound from a video game, Close Combat, it's a real MP40 sound, but I´m unable to fit it right.
