Imagine you're about to lose a city, or your invasion force has been decimated, or a lone scout is attacked by barbarians...you've pressed next turn and you're anxious to see where the dust has settled, but first you've got to endure your entire field of view blocked with trivial diplomatic notifications. Imagine the frustration?

At the very least you're not in the right frame of mind to absorb the information. You want to get on with whatever you were getting on with previously. Maybe after all your unit actions are resolved you'd like to examine diplomatic info, but is there a screen with which you can review the notifications? If so, why not eliminate popup notifications entirely and leave them in a special notification interface.

Hopefully there is an option to turn off notifications.

First of all I like the idea of the Notifications, but:
They are way to big and screen filling and so blocking your view of what is happening during the turns.
There are way to many, especially in the late game. I really don't want to know which building or unit each civ has build each turn in every city they have.

So lets hope you can adjust them in the advance settings to only show the most important ones like the wars and wonder ones for example.
