GGF1: Incas

If he doesn't post by tommorow morning, I'm going to assume that he was banned from the computer for the rest of vacation. Don't really know what we'll do in that case though...

Guys I'm still here but it's as if the server isn't working or something... it's taking forever to load

Well in the meanwhile, here are some screenshots. Here's Incaland (notice the roads and archers):

And here's Spain. They obviously already have 5 cities, and depending on whether that settler has already built a city or not, they might have 6. They shouldn't be too powerful though... it's just warlord. I excpect 2 spearman and a warrior in the cities at most. Nothing that a stack of archers couldn't take over. Plus we have 3 cities that aren't doing anything else but can produce an archer every 2 turns.

just a lurker comment:

the upload server is working fine for me, so if you cant figure that out aaminion00 could always email it to someone like gogf who could upload it

PS-- this game looks interesting, horrible start however

EDIT cross posted with aaminion00 and gogf lol:crazyeye:

Done!

Turn log:
1. Changed Cuzco's production to a temple, to pre-build a harbor
2. Traded writing to Spain for The Wheel and 40 gold
3.-8. pretty much  turns, I move units to the south-east (toward our galleys, and where out galleys will be before I get them)
9. I balance out budget, so that we are losing 0 gold. We have lost a barracks in Machu-Pichu, and a worker. I disband three archers, and change Machu-Pichu and Cuzco to wealth
10. Load two galleys, and bring them south.

Save, and end screenshot in next post...

crizzlewalk: remember to bring spearman as well as archers to the front. Make sure to balance the budget (duh)...

holy shizat! I go to a girl friend's house for awhile and look what you guys did! jeezus gogf your a serious Mofo :)
ok ill fix our problem! Thank god we getting that wonder

yo... the save is not loading! try uploading it again gogf, im just getting an error screen

While waiting for gogf's correction on the save, let me shed some light on the Incans for you who don't read the rule book.

1) Incans prefer Communism :nya:
they DON"T like the republic
so, natch, we go like this despotism --> monarchy --> communism

2) Since our civ is agricultural...good news about taking over Spanish desert, WE GET MORE FOOD FROM IT [dance], so once the fools fall from our might, we could think about settling that land and not think twice about it :jump:

3) ok ok so this is a suggestion, lets not build any wonders that are agricultural or expansionist until we have good base of operations on "Spainard Island".

Well the Great Lighthouse would be most useful with this map. If we took advantage of it quickly it'd be great.

Either way, good luck with the coming war.

I believe that is if they are an AI Civ so you can know what to expect. You will derive no benefit from being Incan and going communisn just because the rule book says Incans prefer communism so I don't believe it is a natural. Since your playing them you can develop whichever gov't that suits you and IMHO, being a commie in Civ is usually used only for extreme circumstances.

good point barbslinger... I'm thinking back to original civ3, that's the way I played it out (i almost never had problems if i used the rulebook's type of government) O well, commie corruption is bad, but hosts LOTS of units AND give 2nd palace (which is verrry helpful in archipelago). Anyways, i'm just considering right now if we should wait to find out if we have iron or not on our island before landing an invasion force, no doubt we are getting GL2, but GL is the big prize for us.

He, I'm sorry, you were very busy! I thought I had added a screenshot, (that's what the site told me... )

... now, go on, It'll be ine this way. Who's up now?

mfG mitsho

cizzlewalk, I believe - he was second after Gogf last time.
