Global Highland Challenge Pitboss

I would be willing to be a temporary sub for Ras, or a permanent replacement if he doesn't think he'll be unbusy any time soon. As far as I'm concerned I can take over now if he's too busy and if he ever wants it back at any time, it's his.

EDIT: Geronimo sent me a PM saying Ras was reverted to AI and that I should go for it.

I logged in to look at the situation and take the turn for Ras's civ. And what do you know it I'm stuck in a diplo screen. This is the thing I hate most about pitboss games and which is why I always hate to see them have to get paused. You can't get out of the diplo screen and there's no way of knowing before you log on if you're in one.

So if anyone sees this in the next hour please unpause it. Beyond that I'll have to extract myself from that game.

Either way the game can be unpaused, as I believe it was paused because of Ras's absence.

OK, in what will probably be my last action of the game, I've unpaused for my Executioner ... go to it SC!!

Thank you for unpausing the game. It was an honorable thing to do. The deed is done.

Sorry for so many log-ins. Was having trouble with my internet. It would log me in but then would slow to a crawl before saying I've been disconnected. I know all the connections put a strain on the game, so I'm sorry, but I had to finish my turn before others could play.

Can't wait much longer BS_Prophet -- need to play my turn within the next 30-60 minutes.

Rusten, would you oppose if I move first next turn (194?). No combat took place. My forward stack moved to 1NW of Hariharalaya. The rest moved from the fog to where you would've seen it if I played before you - there are now some more crossbows and elephants and hwachas 1NE and 1N2E of Hariharalaya - about 6 or 8 units. I don't know what's happening around Yasodharapura, so I don't know if me being late or you not knowing about those extra units affected anything.

If yes I'll be able to play about 19 hours from now. If not I can wait until a more suitable time to restore the order (easier to maintain if CH, SC and me go first together).

Hard to say without me being ingame, but I think it matters seeing as it's so close to my city. Would prefer to go back to normal order when there's less confrontation.

Maybe it'd be a good idea to add a few hours to the timer as the game progresses? 22 hours is pretty short when there are multiple wars.

Could we even change it to 48 hours? (44 hours on the game clock)?

Seemed to work pretty well in the recent Cavaleiros pitboss and gives everyone a bit more breathing room to get their turns done, especially at war time.

I'm not at war, but I am going to have a busy few months ahead of me so this would certainly be better for me anyway. What does everyone else think?
