Have you noticed that since GnK, archers don't do normal damage anymore in vanilla? There is a sort of constant 1hp only damage ''bug''...:dunno: Same for city bombard i think. It was the case into Onan's speed game where i was Monty since the GnK release. Same problem occured when they upgraded to coorsbowmen.

That was one big reason why i got Ottomans in your kyp's game. His ranged units barely did damage.

I will not be mad if i lose this war...vanilla sucks! :lol: I prefer chocolate :p

Hey I noticed this too after GNK. There seems to be a few things that changed but my archers and CKNs are not shooting like they should. In Kyp's game I have to bring 10 or more of the things to do any damage to Roman legions!

I'm also interested in the other side.

The Roman - Arab conflict seems to have stalled a little bit after the sacking of Bagdad. It might just be a regroup phase. One could profit well from supporting the right side in this conflict.

Well, Archors did little damage, but siege based units like the ballista can 1 shot swordman undefended in orange, two shots a full health undefended swords. I rarely used that unit before, so I wonder if it is supposed to be that powerful.

In case you chose the wrong side, Meca should fall within 2 turns. :blush:

Heh, I was planning longterm to land on those squares :)

I think this city is going to be trashed, can I get to #2? Hmmmm, wait and see next time on Kyp vs Tab

Fortunately, this 4th city that you gonna take has no unique luxuries(already have cotton in capital). Nc is 2 turns from being built in capital too, thing that i'm sure you never started yet...we will see in later eras who is the boss(if, of course, i can resist you from my 3rd city :blush:)

I have a nice spot behind my capital to put a 4th city if i really need one...this game is not lost, but starting worstly than i thought :(

I'm rarely very slow to get decent army...

Tab and I have never lost a 2v2 on the same team together in MP.. :)

I thought we were brothers!!! :cry::whipped:

If the war on the other continent can't be finished decisively, it's better to make peace and go back to team work again. Otherwise your warring nations will get behind, because our continent has started the massive post-war reconstructions after the fall of Meca.:cool:
 
So Mecca has been plundered? Dont remember seeing it last turn so you must've done it right after.

A continous agreement of luxury trades and respect for each others borders is something we value. Greek lands are surrounded by a mountain chain that is a perfect natural border.
Other deals to bring us closer together, such as RA's is a thing we are looking forward to in the future.

It's too soon yet. We only fought 2 turns after all. He has twice units than me but i have a couple of ranged units. If the bug doesn't strike me i can hope.
 
The humbled Arabs apologize to all for allowing Rome to take possession of our lands so easily and thus to swell in size. We played an economically greedy game, and then had the misfortune of accidentally setting a Swordsman to 'Automated Explore' allowing the Barbarians to pillage our iron at a decidedly inconvenient time. I hope others will fare better against the Roman juggernaut than we did.
