Faced with an open declaration of war, the French army was given permission to eliminate the immediate threats to Frances security. France strongly points out that these are defensive measures, and we could do more if all out war was ordered.

Autria still have a chance to stand down. If not, France reserves the right to defend itself in any way it can.

As much as it pains us to fall back on an alliance, Prussia can not help but acknowledge that Austria was the aggressor. We condemn the Emperor's decision to end the prosperous peace that Europe has finally been able to attain after years of needless bloodshed, but we will fortify all borders and remain neutral.

As long as Russia and Britain have the sense to leave France's defensive war alone as we will, the belligerents seem to be an even match and perhaps a stalemate will force them into a new peace. We sincerely hope that this conflagration need not spread.

France thanks the Prussians for not siding with madness.

Once again, France does not want this war.

France is a peacefull society. We have been under the boot of Napoleon too many years, and have learned the hard way the terrors of war and oppression. But if the Austrian Emperor insits on war against the French people, we will defend our way of life in any way we can.

And we would allso remind Austria that France is allmost your equal millitarily. And our industry is by far superior to yours, so we will have no problem replacing our losses. Do you ?

France launced a totally unprovoked attack on Austrian forces. They were by no means looking for trouble, they were merely on a peaceful nationwide picnic. Austria condemn the French agression and will defend them selves to the last man. We will not surrender until Paris is in Austrian hands. Once again we urge every civilized power to join Austria against the evil Frenchies, for the sake of humanity and justice.

Utterly ridiculous, they were camped just outside French cities for an attack, and any responsible nation in the world would have done what France did. I'm pretty sure Russia and Britain will also acknowledge that Austria is the aggressor.

They were on a peaceful picnic outisde their own cities, which happened to border some French cities. Enjoying life with a glass of wine and some food, in God's free nature.

Sadly, it does not appear that France respect their neighbours. France violated common sense when attacking innocent Austrian forces on a picnic. That was the spark that caused this meaningless war. Look what you have done, sas!!

Finally, I have played my turn.

To revenge the sneak attack on Austrian forces, our elite forces captured the city of Milan and the heavyily defended city of Geneva. These attacks was a matter of defense and not agression. Some French war ships were sunk as well.

I will retreat from both cities if you can pay war damage compansation for your unscrupulous sneak attack on our harmonic and peaceful military Either by money or by military equipment. I will not end this war (which you started) before justice has been seen and Paris burns.
