The Democratic Republic of Nigeria

To: The African Federation
From: The Democratic Republic of Nigeria
I was not aware we were at war? Therefore I cannot see the logical need for a 'cease-fire'. But if that is what must be done to keep the peace then so be it.

I hope that we can find a peaceful resolution to our grievances and avoid unnecessary bloodshed. I want to move Nigeria forward as a democratic and independent nation to deal with the problems facing Africa and my nation today. I can not do this if I must always be looking over my shoulder at threats from the African Federation. Therefore it is a must that we come to a peaceful solution and that we at least attempt to try and work together to fight the real issues in Africa such as HIV/AIDS, famine and extreme poverty.

Yours,
President Mubarak Mustafa of Nigeria

Senate Passes 'Open Economic Act'

President Mustafa's open economic act has passed the Senate with 30 votes in favour. The bill, which allows for foreign company investment in specifically designated areas of Nigeria for the first-time in over 30 years, is set to pass to the House of Representatives who are expected to pass the bill. The President spoke of how this act was vital to the nation's economic rejuvenation and it's longterm hopes of defeating poverty and disease in Nigeria:

"The Open Economic Act is a huge step in the right direction for Nigeria. While we must protect our industries and traditions, it is also vital that we allow foreign investors to come to our nation to set up their businesses here. This shall be crucial in reinvigorating our shattered economy and giving Nigerian people the jobs they need to escape poverty."

The bill is the first one to be brought forward by the President who has promised a raft of further economic reforms to help pull Nigeria's economy into the 20th Century and to prepare it for the 21st.

Orders:

Probably :p

On the other hand I write the stories while I am studying, a paragraph or so at a time, helps me to not go crazy, while an update is a massive thing with many windows open that takes ages to do. So hold your horses, only a few days left until the last exam and then you will have your update.

From the African Federation
to Nigerian terrorists
We are not at "war" but as long as your terrorist organization unlawfully controls and largely runs the African Federation state of Nigeria, violating our sovreingty, our soldiers have the right to fire at you and your terrorist on sight, the Cease fire we offer is just a sign of goodwill so that we might negotiate a way to end this problem in an other way that vilolence.

To the CU,
From the UIR,

Yes, the United Islamic Republic acknowledge that the Commonwealth union treated the people of the former nation of Jordan in a fair and honest manner, and invested into that former nation. The people of the UIR thank you for that, and that is why we have fairly friendly relations with your country. But now it is time for all Muslims to move forward, and to chart our own destiny. That is why we are asking you to allow Qatar their Independence. Of course, you would have to work out the exact details of that with the UIS President, but we could come to an arangement where you will still get Oil on a constant basis.

I'm back from chores, and am beginning update. You may all commence drinking :p

I object to being called a terrorist. What perplexes me is why you have chosen to raise this issue when our nation has been indepedent for almost a year now and after we have had fair and democratic elections. What reason does the African Federation now have to try and reclaim Nigeria as part of their territory when we have been declaring independence for almost a year without objection?

I can not understand why now you choose to call us terrorists?

YUKOS is sponsering Vodka for everyone! In five different flavors!

Every time the words 'Communism', 'Space', 'war', or 'revolution' are used in the update, everybody takes a shot. Last person left unconscious wins.

Everyone would be unconscious by the third sentence, Oeri :p

It's coming along nicely, avoding the War, though, as usual.
