Meh... SADETO doesn't let anyone in from outside her petty continent, even if she promises it a hundred times.

The UIS may not have threatened the CU, whatever, the offer still stands. We still wish to become a part of Russia if Putin will let us, please.
(I even promise not to make any noise, I'll just lead those firms and help build spaceships.)

The above is the negotiation between the Indian and UIS ambassador.

India will not state unclearly nor will we be diplomatic. India holds the UIS responsible for the attacks against India and the skrimishes along the border.

We are willing for peace but it will be staus quo as it was before. No changes.

The UIS however at the same time holds India responsible for the attacks against the UIS and the skirmishers along the border along with the deployment of biological weaponry.

We are willing for peace however the Indian government must be willing to disband the Weapons of Mass Destruction it continues to upkeep for no reason but to deploy them to destroy another nation.

The world should never have allowed India to survive thus forcing the CU to intervene with a massive muslim organization...

Please let us become a part of Russia!

To UIS
From India

I will be blunt this is the only treaty acceptable to us.

Treaty of Ahamabad

-A truce is signed
-Any forces in the terrtories of India and UIS are withdrawn from the respective sides
-The dead are sent back
-The governments of India and the UIS shall take all nessecary measures to prevent fanatical elemnts of their, military, government, and pouplation from carrying out attacks against each other
-A 10 year Non-Agression pact is signed
-A 10 km Demiltrized zone is establishe don both sides of the border
-India will declare that it shall never use Weapons of Mass Destruction in a first strike and they will only ever be used in self defense
-A full scale joint uinvestagtion by the governments of the UIS, India and any other neautral nations will investigate into matters leading up to this crisis
-The staus quo is returned to no disarmerment, territroy loss, or reparations.

We can no longer trust Hindu extremists having nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and once again state that any use of such weapons will be met with accordingly. Until India gives up their WMD there can be no peace.

We can no longer trust these Muslim extremists from having a army. Until the UIS disbands it's army there can be no peace.

The Russian Federation, at the request of India, has accepted to mediate peace between the UIS and India, and calls for both sides to attend a summit in Yalta.

The Russian Federation will admitt the territories that are currently known as the Commonwealth Union to the Russian Federation in the form of autonomous republics. Considering Russia has been ruling Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia as such republics until recently we do not see it as contradictory to our policy.

......Toteone, that is not really IC at all.

OOC-
Toteone. Why did you give your country to the Russian Federation? Just wondering

Offical Joint Statement by The Filipino Commerce Minister and Foreign Affairs Ministers

The Federated Republic of the Philippines shall continue to support the USE and Greece over Cyprus. And is quite displeased of the UIS's cutting off of peoples oil who support them. But never the less, since we still get oil from ourselves, Malayasia and soon Russia, we will continue our open support of the USE and Greece.

OC:Toteone your government will probably hold a vote of no confidence and then hang you as a traitor :)

To Argentina
From Yugoslavia
Are you intersted in nuclear power(power plant one)? You sure could use a lot of cheap power for water electrolysis to make those precious hydrogen fuel cells.

How does this work? Do we have to send diplo for the CU through Moscow/stormy first?

New Commander of the Philippine Armed Forces

Statement by President Person

Recently, due to the new military alert level, we our military cannot successfully function without a new commander. As such I appoint General Evangelina Macapagal-Arroyo. She was the commanding officer in the Liberations of The Dominican Republic and Jamaica. She will un-doubtfully be an excellent commander.

History of General Evangelina Macapagal-Arroyo

Evangelina Macapagal-Arroyo was born in Cebu, Philippines into a rich family. But the family lost its fortune when he was 21. Due to the lack of jobs in post-war Philippines, she joined the military. Quickly showing her leadership skills she accended the ranks to Brigadier General, being the first female General in The Philippines. Where she spearheaded the invasion of The Dominican Republic. She was promoted to lt. General after that. Then due to her decisive victory over Jamaica she was promoted to General. Since then she has been in charge of The Colonial Army, a branch of the army which was in charge of the colonies. Now that it has been disbanded she has transferred to the 2nd Battle Group. It consisted of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th armies, totaling 220,000 men and 500 tanks, the largest battle group ever in the Philippines history. As such President Person decided to give the position to her. Evangelina Macapagal-Arroyo is currently married to Jose Miguel Arroyo.

To the Representative of PPI
From the Ivory Coast

You have not stated where, we the government, declared we have developed a cure, you have failed to provide any evidence and to that effect you are wrong. The only debateable part is the from the "World weekly News", due to ambigious reporting. (OOC: i.e. saying cure and also not sure what it does, GOOBER I BLAME THIS ALL ON YOU, YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID "Nearing Breakthrough")

(back IC:)
We are fully committed to developing a cure. The cure of course will be closer after this current research project, once we know more about the disease.

I have not exploited any countries pockets, all I have said is that we will gladly have help with the next research project, which is likly to come even closer to finding the cure; and that we are looking for industrial nations to produce the drugs.

Finally we are committed to producing this drug as cheaply as possible, so that everyone can benefit, unlike you, a company who will use it to maximise profits.

Almost IC: And what is this Mod you speak of? An indutrial spy? We are Outraged!

OOC: feanor, you are taking this as diplomacy, right?

TO the CU
From the USE
Why the hell are u giving your land to the Russians?

To the UIS
Why do you feel yourself in a position to make demands? Cyprus will fall next turn and there is northing you can do about it.

OOC: you dont make 90% of the worlds oil >.>

The Democratic Republic of Nigeria

President Pledges Peace In Africa

In a stirring speach today in the Capital Abuja before the Senate, President Mubarak Mustafa has pledged to do "everything" within his power to prevent war in Africa. The President spoke of his want to encourage peaceful negotiation and mediation throughout the continent as a solution to crises rather than through conflict and violence:
'I remember a land that was once bountiful and plentiful, that basked in beauty and offered hope to the people who lived upon it. Now I see a land ravaged by war, a nd a people struggling to survive. It is with too much pain that in my lifetime I have seen this once magnificent land turned to rubble, ruined in the pursuit of greed and conquest. But I can see a light yet, a chance that we may reverse this and return our land to it's former beauty. We can achieve this goal, but only through peace and co-operation can this be done. Each individual in Nigeria and in Africa holds the key to this land's revival, together we can defeat poverty, disease and squalor and give ourselves a land that we can once more be proud of.'
The President's words were met with rapturous applause with the Senate giving a 10 minute standing ovation. It is clear that the President sees peace with the African Federation and the creation of a new co-operative attitude in Africa as the only way forward. In two days time President Mustafa is due to fly out to Johannesburg to meet with the African Federation leaders in a bid to avert conflict and bring peace to Nigeria and Africa.

House Passes Farmer's Protection Act

The House of Representatives has passed a bill to provide greater aid for Nigerian farmers. The Act will help farmer's across Nigeria in buying new tools and equipment or looking after their farms. The Act also sets aside money for the construction of news roads and railways to help move farm produce into the towns and cities quicker. Although the central concern of the Act is a plan to slowly reduce the amount of foreign food imports into Nigeria weaning the country off of it's current over-reliability on foreign food stuffs. The Act calls for within the next 10 years for Nigerian farmers to produce over 90% of the country's food with 10% coming from overseas. Economic analysts say this is set to be a huge boost for Nigerian farmers and will certainly have a massively positive impact on the Nigerian rural economy. The bill is set to go onto the Senate where it is expected it shall pass without a problem.
