OOC - First, you don't want to know how much Stormy poured into this project over several turns. Second, he did come up with a "solution" for it, of sorts. I'm not totally sure what effect they would have on the ground, but I imagine it would kinda be like a cloud which literally destroys everything in a certain region, depending on its strength, has no Mushroom cloud, and leaves radiation worse then Nukes.
I am not 100% sure, but, from some readings, that sounds somewhat accurate.

Energy released from antimatter-matter collisions is twice that of nuclear. But 50% of energy is carried away as Nutrinos (created by collision).
Antimatter is Very rare, known methods of creating it are Extremely inefficient with a loss of half the input energy. It also require particle accelerators.
Current cost of Antimatter $25 billion for a gram. Current production rate of the world, a couple of nanograms a year.

1 gram of antimatter will boil all of the world's oceans. To get the effect Storm was using, you would probably have to be using only nanograms in the missiles.

Correct, so the radiation that is released, while is not nice, is not too dangerous, its gamma rays. A positron-electron collision creates 2 gamma rays and gives off a whole lot of energy....booom! And as long as you dont try to use Protons and Negatrons you are ok. But Im already telling you way too much.
