GoobNES01: Fallout [Third Thread]

To India,
From Pakistan,

We will agree to the common currency, and we will agree to ease travel restrictions except in the areas where we have our insurgency going on near your border, and in Kashmir.

To Russia
From the USE

I see your belligerence has caused you to abandon any sense of justice, supporting a rouge oppressive leader such as Suharto when you could easily with one command liberate the entire nation of Indonesia. Russia is beginning to revert to its communist totalitarian past, and is apparently no longer a true supporter of democracy or freedom throughout the world.

The USE will continue to defend the rightful nation of Israel against Russian imperialism, and will realize all consequences of fighting the Indonesian Hitler and his Russian cohorts.

OOC: For some reason my government is incredibly right wing as well, being 90% comprised of the conservative party. Yet, somehow, my actions are blocked occassionally :cringe:

For the Record, most nations can produce antimatter at this stage. In fact, I am going to say that nobody except the USA, USE, Russia, India, China, Brazil, Argentina and Germany can produce it, others don't have the tech. It costs a ridiculous amount per gram for all but Russia, who came up with some ingenious solutions as to how to make it cheaper.

And the world enters into the antimatter age . . . a new WMD . . .

Military Ship Ban

India bans all military vessels from it's terrotorial waters. No military vessels from any nations are allowed. Furthermore failure to adhere to this ban shall result in destruction of offending vessels.
The Indian Navy and Air Force shall be enforcing this ban.
Protection for commercial vessels shall be provided by India. Commercial shipping shall continued unhindered.

Antimatter is overated :p Now M.I.D.A.S. thats cool

Besides Antimatter are just safe, clean nukes. That makes those with normal ones more dangerous then before..yeah

I am back as Brazil. Fun times to come....

I am honored ;)
IC: Brazil held a new election and the new Presedent promised to right the wrongs that have been done to the country.
OOC: Goobs I assume that Brazil salvaged all SADETO projects and weaponry?

Yes , but Brazil has her own "faithfull" alliance ;)

BTW Gelion the deal went as it should,I dunno if you received the 5 eco though cos you were NPC.

Ya, Cleric is kinda right, all antimatter really is is a way to make nukes just as deadly, but more expsensive, and less radioactive. And we all thought Stormy was serious about getting rid of his Nukes, lol . . .

I don't think so. At least, not quite as bad. Nukes will hurtle dust and stuff into the atmosphere, blocking the sun and causing the nuclear winter effect. I imgaine antimatter weapons would do the same, but not nearly as bad. Antimatter just sounds like a cleaner, less readioactive, more expensive version of nukes.

Read the effects of antimatter definition. Hell, read the first part. Antimatter weapons are really hard to make, and don't make that big of an explosion, given the quantity the Storm seems to have used. It's unrealistic Storm can even produce enough antimatter for anything. If he has a way that can overcome this technical barrier, I want to know about it.

It'll all probably come out at the NES's end, or in 10 turns time.

Either way, I shall just write my fictional physics papers cuz I mean, if Stormy can produce antimatter, I'm perfectly sure I can design FTL transport, BattleMechs and anti-matter triggered thermonuclear weapons.

icarus - exactly my point. If we can build a sustainable base on the moon, have photon reactors, sustain fusion for 30 years now, then why not antimatter?

Mmm, we can work together. You can research FTL and BattleMechs, I'll ge to work on a hamster-powered Death Star.

not exactly my point. I view them as equivalently unlikely, not equivalently likely. Regardless, in its current use as an admittedly expensive weapon, antimatter is, imo, an acceptably unlikely innovation, so long as its use is not expanded to the point where, as an unrealistic element in the first place, it significantly changes the game dynamic, e.g. power generation, interstellar travel, et al.
