Bringing news to Western Europe since 1967
Tensions build, Russia pushes for war
The Russian empire has reached its most agressive point ever, refusing to backdown over the blackmail of Israel and now defending the dictator of Indonesia Suharto against liberating countries attacks.
President Blair adressed the nation gravely earlier, bringing the enormity of the situation to light
"Citizens of Europe,
We will not give in to Russian intimidation, we will fight to the last no matter what dirty tricks the Russians attempt to pull on us. We do not put it past the Russians to attempt to use their new anti-matter devices on our great nation, and I encourage all to be vigilant in the face of this new threat, panicking or allowing the Russians to change our lives will only aid their plans of terrorism and anti-democracy. Many of you ask me to backdown in the face of their mounting threats, but what will that accomplish? Do you really think the fascist Russians will spare us when they march upon the rest of the world on their Hitler-esq conquest?
No. They will not, and we will not be like the Neville Chamberlains of the past and allow the Fascists to move into smaller nations and prop up corrupt dictatorships as we sit idly by, while the races of the world call out with starving, squashed voices to end the unwarranted oppression. We will be like the churchills, the Roosevelts, the Trumans who did not let the threats and movements of aggression go unheeded and unpunished. A great coalition of nations has been assembled, nations who have been long frustrated by growing Russian power and belligerence, to meet their latest threats.
This war will be the greatest the world has ever known, 1967 will seem a petty squabble in comparison. May God bless us all."
Shortly after this the USE fleet was seen leaving ports, where to was classified by the USE government, but we can only assume it is to meet the Russian fleets wherever they may be.
