Dear God, war between the USE and Russia?!?!?! Over Timor?!?! Some godforsaken little speck of island in the middle of nowhere? Why are the biggest wars fought over the smallest of issues? You guys do realize how small this island is?

Ahh well, time for an interesting Update.

I shall be started the Update when I get home tonight, if I am still standing, that is. That will be in about 9 hours, so you guys have 9 hours for last minute orders. The chances of it being done tonight will be very slim, since I will only have 4 hours max to work on it.

It's not the land it's the principals of the matter. Honor, sovergnity, hypersuperpower status are all at stake here. Nations fight the hardest over their ideals.

The USE and the UIS killed each nother for Cyprus, which amazed me, and . . . ya, anyway, i've dragged this carcass that protects my brain back from work, and am working on the Update. Slowly yet surely . . .

I dunno, something corrupted my mind and made it peaceful in this game, can't help it that much. But if they put up more of a fuss... goodness I might drop out of the characters I've been playing it like for the last months and start investing a 100 eco. into 30.000 Special Forces and rule them all forever. Such a headache... colonials sure don't know a good benevolent thing when it hits them in the head. I'm even offering them the vote and Industrialization... and they're doubting - THE BASTARDS!
Which is why I wrote a story as Goober requested - always do what the Mod asks you. It's very successful historically. Hope it pans out. (oc)

Toteone, I have explained this for quite a number of time to you. Colonies are Colonies. They are colonies of you, they are under your control. They don't have an easy way to control their destiny, nor what happens to them. Thus why your Colonies will always be somewhat rebellious, and will be able, to an extent, to withstand whatever goodies you throw at them.

You are one of the few remaining "Colonial Empires", along with the USE and Malaysia.
