GoobNES01: Fallout [Third Thread]

I would join but I need someone to explain the economy numbers to me. I'm kinda slow.

China denounces Germany's behavior in denouncing China's "meddling" in German Affairs considering that Scandinavia is not a part of Germany.

The Chinese would like to note that the USE supports Future German annexation of both Norway and Sweden after declining a request for help from those two respective countries.

We never said we were doing anything of the like. Again, it seems like the Chinese should best stick to their own affairs in Asia.

We shall see ;) but one must wonder that if Germany weren't doing anything of the like, what would be the ill of the USE to accept a Defense Agreement with the Scandinavian Countries unless the USE itself knows that Germany will be planning to invade the countries and plunge Europe into War? ;) The Current Administration of the USE is not doing a very good job...

China's feeble attempts at causing an incident are laughable. The German nation has not expressed any ill feelings against the nations of Scandanavia, we only have an interest in regional politics. We, so far, have no ambitions upon Scandanavian land, and instead of accusing other governments of doing a bad job, perhaps China should begin to feed some of its people, and THEN accuse other governments of mismanagement instead of doing so while millions of your people live in destitution.

If the German Nation has not expressed any ill feelings against the Nations of Scandinavia, one must wonder indeed why they asked for a defensive agreement with the USE and WHY the USE declined if Germany had shown no ill feelings towards them since after all a Defensive Agreement in peace and with friendly countries with no possible blight in the future is a blessing not a curse. Of course, that goes back to the USE knowing things about the German Nation that the rest of the world does not...

Perhaps it means that the USE does not wish to get itself involved in foriegn alliances. Perhaps it means that the USE does not wish to currently get involved in Scandanavian affairs. There are many reasons why they might have refused the defense agreement, but it does not mean that Germany wants to annex Scandanavia. Again, just because the Chinese nation is defined as a 'superpower' does not mean it can stick its nose anywhere.

So civilian ships with a Chinese license will also be fired upon by Germany? So just because a man with a Chinese license approached Germany this shows that that's an act of hostility on the part of the Chinese Government? Since chinese licensed ships are Chinese ships after all.

Just merely pointing out some of the loopholes, we really wouldn't want a civilian Chinese ship being fired upon of course. And of course, the Chinese Government can't have people thinking it's a fool! :mischief: We of course merely wondered about the German position on Scandinavia and were blasted with a denouncement denouncing our actions in Germany's affairs. But we will do as you say and close the issue. ;)

A New Military Establishment
The Reichskanzler's Appointed War Cabinet

BY ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CHANCELLOR OF THE GROSSERE DUETSCHES REICH THESE TWO MEN ARE HEREBY APPOINTED THE CHIEF OF THE GENERAL STAFF AND THE GRAND ADMIRAL OF THE SKL AND THE KRIEGSMARINE.

GENERALFELDMARSCHALL FREDERICK VON REICHENAU

Generafeldmarschall von Reichenau, born 1939, remembered as a child the horrors of Dresden and the bombardment of Berlin by the Allies. Such horrors were forever ingrained into his memory, and the collective memory of all German peoples, and after the unification of the two Germanies Reichenau vowed that such a thing would never happen to Germany again. However he did not vow this through pacifistic intent as many others would, many others who fear action. No, Reichenau understood as an astute student of war that the only way to thwart action was to use action. With this philosophy he rose rapidly in the ranks of the Bundeswehr, eventually becoming a top General in the German Army. It was his advice which led Droeger to the succesful conclusion of 'Operation Anschluss' and thus he was summarily repaid with the office of Chief of the General Staff. His doctrine of warfare is reminiscent of Heinz Guderian, and under Reichenau and Droeger's guidance an army is being remade. An army unlike any the world over.

GROSSERTIGER ADMIRAL ALFRED SCHARNER

Grand Admiral Scharner was born 1948 in the city of Hamburg. A career navy man, Scharner has spent most of his life on a ship - his father a fisherman. Alfred however had a more militant streak in him, and joined the navy as soon as he could. From sailor to admiral, he rose prominently in the navy for his startling yet popular ideas of a strong German navy - something unheard of since the days of WWII or WWI even. It is through Scharner's insistance that the Kriegsmarine undergoe signficant renovation, adopting a heavy hitting yet fast doctrine of naval warfare while urging for the construction of untold numbers of submarines. The future navy of Germany will be Scharner's child and due to his leadership, it will mature more readily than any of its predecessors.

From Russia
To UIS

The treaty is acceptable except for the restrictions on military movement. Russia will station troops wherever it deems necessary and will not need UIS aproval to do so. So, if that clause is removed peace can be achieved.
