World War III was 17/62, the USSR and USA going Nuclear. World War IV was the Russians invading the USA. World War V was, as the Zworr saw it, the final war, with Russia invading, or trying to, Europe, after taking out their armies, then the massive coalition invading Russia, before the Antimatter facility went up.
Stormy, you were in the process of beginning to contruct the facility for it in space, but you had not got it quite completed enough for antimatter production in space. Perhaps you were trying to move some to space when it touched matter and started the end of the world?
And alex's Senate ultimately betrayed Russia. I doubt the Chinese President could have pursuaded his country to stick with Russia, who had turned into a Fascist State with a leader whom most saw as crazy on a good day. The Senate, composed of a few Communists, and a wackload of Liberals and Leftists, overwhelming voted to declare war on Russia. At least, this is what the Zworr said.
