Just checked the Hall of Fame, which currently reflects games up to #149. I see you have exactly 50 gold, silver and bronze, a considerable milestone I would have riotously applauded in the manner of we-love-the-president had I noticed it before. (Peaster also has exactly 50.)

I note the untiring mercurios does have 52 blue stars, but the rest of us in the current "core" are grouped way behind (and closing on the moderator's 21): haleewud=20, Major_Advantage=16, Inkerman=17.

Good job,but maybe the next time when the last day for submit is changed with 2 weeks because a player,2,etc not have finished the game,this change will be annonced for ALL players, a few days before the normally limit day .

Our deadlines are rather soft. If you need a day or two extra, do not even bother asking; consider it granted. If you need more, ask in the game thread. Of course extensions apply to everyone, not just those who asked for it.
Extensions are a rather common occurrence on large time consuming games.

'Judging from the spoiler there are still a few who are playing. Deadline extended to Feb 16th'.
My friend Ali,this message appears in GOTM 161 thread,2 february 8 AM,US hour,4 PM my hour,with 8 hours before this GOTM 161 normally closed.You knew my goal,to play all turns,2019,was the question 'why 2019,etc'.Was a weak game and submit useless,bad score GOTM,not general score,waiting for Apollo,etc,without opening the editor from start to see the map and the huts,but was my firts GOTM submitted,in my inbox is missing a message from 30 jan-1 february,'Catalin,can play this GOTM 2 weaks,deadline extended'
If I leaved Civ IV BTS for this nice old game and GOTM's,I prefer to see a FAIR 'atmosphere',new player,old player,not important.

Good point Catalin72. Do not get overly pressured by the deadline. Ask for more time when needed.

Thanks for explanations friend Ali.I'm new,don't know more about GOTM's,I played just for fun..In GOTM rules nothing about extended deadline,this is an usually practice in this nice circle of friends,this was the confusion.I do not think I will ask for more time in the next GOTM's,I have more time for games,but is good to know.
