I have the honour of reporting the capture of Karakorum. Among captured items discovered at their Great Library were documents pertaining to the following scientific advances: Republic, Theology, Printing Press, Education, Banking, Astronomy, Democracy, Physics, ToG, Magnetism, Military Tradition, Steam Power, Medicine, and Communism.
I must also report the loss of 7th and 9th Sword Armies that were lost to desperate counterattacks by Chinese and Mongolian forces outside the gates of the city. Their great sacrifice was noted by their fellow soldiers from inside the city who were not counterattacked. Our remaining forces are severely depleted, but are razing the town and will then seek shelter in more suitably defensive terrain. We will then attempt to heal our forces and prepare to return and link up with our comrades in the West.
