GR13 - AWE on LK's world map

Ok I evaluated the losses for India and I now suspect they are even weaker in terms of research. They are at least 12 turns and more likely 14 or 15 turns in this tech.

They have to have dropped a lot in beakers over my turn set. So that is something like 150-200bpt. I think I put them at least 5000 beakers to start my session. That means they are 6000 to 6200 now. They are not going to get any breakthrough in the next turn set regardless of what they are researching.

They would need about 4000 more beakers to finish flight. Even if they are able to maintain 200bpt and their price is 10k, that is 20 turns. They are done researching. We may as well pick what ever tech we want for the next one.

Me I prefer tanks to deal with infantry here or in the New World. Flight will be nice to stop those bombardment, but we will have a lot of arties to use to slow them a ton, till we do get to flight.

Either way is not a big deal. We could always get lucky and one of the other top tech civs could give it to us, but I doubt it. They are all in the same shape as India now and will suffer even more soon as we can reach a lot of there towns.
 
I got it. Just got a start on turn 4. No sign of flight from our friends. We have Kazan at the cost of a knight army. Mongols have moved their capital to eastern Siberia.

We have to remove pressure from Kazan and hold it for a time, before we can risk selling off our hand made barracks. It still save us a lot of cash and now we get those healing barracks where ever go on the contient.

Bombard India’s capital Chittagong and destroy rax, market, library, bank, cathedral, university, harbor

Our fleet is up to 9 destroyers BTW. And I'll stop here with close to 40 enemy towns erased.

Flight in 7 at 90%. The AI doesn't have it, and we could be waiting a while for that. 5600 gold in the bank at -430 gpt means we will have plenty of cash considering all the Mongol towns to plunder. Although we aren't stealing it through espionage, the AI is still paying for our research essentially.
The tank vs flight thing is becoming irrelevant as the AI won't get to either before we can and our industrial output is starting to crank out serious #s of troops.

A lot of workers are stored at Baghdad as needed. I created some towns labeled Central Asian Outposts and stored some stuff there for the next player. The AI has been just about walled into Siberia and eastern Manchuria. Pop 9 is about their biggest town. The Mongol borders and rough terrain will make for slower going though.

You're right, the settler thing was a mistake. On the spy thing, it's pocket change but I was surprised the Zulu one failed.

On our navy, we have 15 additional destroyers coming on line in the next 5 turns, so that will help out the frigate nuissance. Other tidbit courtesy of F3

Looks like Iroq will need a lot of pounding with over 300 infantry. They do not have much bombardment to aid them.

considering the amount of Cavs they have, it might be wise to send some more infantry over for the initial onslaught, they might be able to reach us with rails.
 
Lets not send them via naked transports. :D Someone mentioned more cavs rather than infantry for attack, but they have the same attack rating, other than the retreat and I like a few inf armies to soak up those bombers and cavs.

We don't need the extra movement as we have so many armies. Any unit you would attack with a cav can be attacked by an infantry, but the infantry will stand a better chance on defense. In fact if it still has 3HP, will probably be left alone.

The trick is to get a place the AI will attack them, like a beach head town. I doubt we can do that after we have a few towns laid down. Our attacking them will a lot more tedious and costly. Well I guess we can afford the cost though.

I was shocked to see how small the Aztecs military is, given how much land they controlled.
