Stonehenge [3] (6-3) Production trap either way. You're likely to lose it even as low as King, but if you do manage to build it you will wish you got a Holy Site instead whenever you first want to start spreading your religion. GGB and Panama Canal are very niche, but at least they come late enough where you might have some production to spare for that niche gain.

Kilwa Kisiwani [17] (16 + 1). If you ally two science city states and two cultural city states, you’re getting +30% science/culture in the city that built this and +15% science/culture empire wide. The AI is so bad at assigning envoys that I usually have 6-8 suzerainties per game, which basically makes this wonder Broadway/Oxford/Ruhr in a single wonder all for the price of five Magnus chops. Easily the best wonder in the game.

Stonehenge [ELIMATED] (3-0) I’m so happy to be able to eliminate this worthless wonder. It comes super early when you want to build tons of other stuff. You can’t buy religious units. In some cases, you can’t even immediately found a religion because you don’t have a pantheon yet denying you first religion. The only time Stonehenge isn’t worthless is if you’ve already founded a religion, it’s sitting there at T75 and you’re building it for the free apostle and theatre square adjacency.

How I would rate the wonders (in general):
Do I build it even if I don't have Isidore/Filippo/Gustav Eiffel or chops? - Upvote
Do I build it only if I have Isidore/Filippo/Gustav Eiffel or chops? - Not too bad
Do I NOT build it, even if I have Isidore/Filippo/Gustav Eiffel or chops? - Downvote

Looking at the conditions for this thread, I notice the stipulation of single player games. This is a hugely important assumption, as a wonder's value in an absolute sense can be wildly different from its utility in beating an AI with hugely frontloaded bonuses and predictable, idiosyncratic building choices. Stonehenge, for instance, is an immensely powerful wonder, granting an early religion that can be leveraged in a huge number of directions, but it's useless to a human in high level single player because of the AI's massive headstart. In contrast, Great Zimbabwe is far more useful in single player than you'd expect from its inherent properties, as the AI's inability to plan cities makes it incredibly easy to secure.

Calling a thread the "Wonder Elimination Thread", in my view, suggests a thread about the underlying power of the wonders themselves, rather than how well they fit into a metagame against a specific opponent (especially one playing with different rules and start conditions). I also think the general tradition for elimination threads has been to leave gameplay parameters more open ended and let posters cite a broader range of conditions and rationales for their votes. This allows more discussion of how different bonuses might fare under different conditions, and it avoids privileging one particular playstyle over another (since there presumably won't be additional elimination threads considering wonders under different parameters).

With Stonehenge already gone, based largely on AI considerations, it's probably too late to change the conditions of the thread. I would, however, recommend at least changing the title to make it clear precisely what the thread is considering (especially since posters already familiar with elimination threads may be inclined to skip the OP).

Golden Gate Bridge (6+1=7) With proper planning, this can give a massive boost to 2 or 3 national parks: increased tile appeal equals increased tourism, which is the doubled. The bridge function is mostly a distraction from this primary bonus, except insofar as it makes for trickier placement requirements which, if we're stipulating single player games, is actually a significant advantage.
Sydney Opera House (12-3=9) A wonder that comes this late in the game and costs this much needs to actually do something when its completed, not just let you start building towards an eventual bonus. The fact that this eventual bonus (great musicians), can easily run out just makes matters worse.

I think you're talking about Deity difficulty AI. The OP explicitly states that this elimination thread doesn't necessarily require a specific AI difficulty. Some of us rarely play at Deity difficulty, and role-playing is more important than min-maxing, so different reasoning goes into that.
That said, I'm not implying that you're not wrong to use your own reasoning, it is all subjective. For instance, I think Stonehenge is WAY more useful than Golden Gate Bridge. At least it has actually good bonuses, even if they're not the most efficient route to obtain them, or even if Stonehenge be next-to-impossible to get on Deity (I believe getting Machu Picchu and Great Bath are even harder). Many wonders' effects on their own aren't even that useful.
I look at Elimination Threads as fun exercises, seeing the different ways in which players approach the game. Which wonder is the best or your personal favourite won't be based on popular vote.

Golden Gate Bridge 4 [7-3]. Can be really good for boosting tourism in a city. But its situational nature, coupled with how late it comes means you don't have a lot of time reaping its benefits. And can the production spent be used for something else to win you a cultural victory just as well? Probably. But actually, yes.

Terracotta Army 18 [17+1]. While the above is probably only useful for a cultural victory, this one is good for a number of victory types.
The 'free' promotion affects EVERY unit (even Apostles and spies!). I especially like this for getting the elusive Ambush promotion for my recon units - +20 combat strength in all situations.
Archeologists entering foreign lands without open borders is a really cool bonus. Not so game-changing, but consistently useful if you plan to send your archeologists out exploring.

Your foreign trade routes already settled their paths and maxxed their gold bonuses, and when you finally can build the wonder, you already have super fast ships. Financially and strategically, it doesn't change anything - and you have to plan it for ages, hoping niter won't suddenly appear.

@Amunril, I decided on an SP stipulation because I view the value of these threads as less in the voting and more in the sustained conversation between those participating and the opportunities to learn something new and truly examine the arguments being made and come across new evaluations. This is, in my view, much less useful if the arguments take place from entirely different premises, which MP and SP very much are. This was already noted in the 'overall ranking' thread linked in the OP - good players unable to resolve disputes because of approaching the problem with different starting assumptions. By setting everyone in the same starting point, and the one which most players experience far more - particularly newer players, for whom these threads can be a good way to improve - I think we get more useful outcomes. Obviously feel free to ask the moderators for an MP tier list if you'd like. That said, as an aside, I find Stonehenge pretty terrible in MP as well. I almost never build early Wonders in MP; that's a great way to lose production on early unit building in an environment that's extremely militarily aggressive.

I agree there are some really specific wonders like the Panama Canal that will almost never be useful, but at least on occasion they are sometimes at least tangentially useful or interesting. There are a few Wonders, though, that I think are basically just net negatives - they're not even situationally useful, they're literally never useful compared to spending their Production cost on something else. One of those, Stonehenge, is already gone. Therefore, next up is the Colossus. The Colossus gives you +3GPT, +1 Trade Route, +1GAPT, and a free Trader (plus some Tourism over time). It costs 400 Production. A Lighthouse gives you +1FPT, +1GPT +1 Food in all Coastal and Lake tiles, +1 Trade Route, +1GAPT, +2 Housing, and +25% experience for Naval Units produced (admittedly no Tourism). It costs 120 Production. Building Trader is then another 40 Production. In other words, for 160 Production you can build stuff that isn't the Colossus that is categorically better than the Colossus, and it's non-competitive so you can't miss it. There are almost always better solutions to any Gold concerns you have than building this Wonder; you are usually just setting yourself back.

For the up-vote, the Pyramids. Just really, really good. The AI often won't have the conditions to build it, and if they do they rarely aim to build it anyway, so you can be confident you can lock it down. It isn't a particularly expensive Wonder, and this is particularly true given it gives a free Builder anyway and so doesn't disturb your ordinary build order anyway. It is unlocked by a Tech in the right area of the Tech tree - Masonry leads into the ever-valuable Siege Tower and so I don't feel like I'm going out of my way to pick it up. The effect is explosive - 1 extra charge pre-Feudalism is a 20% boost in Liang-bought builders, or a 25% boost if you're focusing on Pingala, on a resource which has a scaling cost; except it is even more useful than that because the boost means you get the extra improvement without having to wait for the next builder to be constructed and improvements now or better than improvements later. The Culture is surprisingly non-trivial if you rushed the Pyramids. All the effects contribute to every Victory Condition. A real star performer.

Apologies for my votes being squeezed so tight together - I was up late last night, and expect to be busy most of today other than the morning, so it is what it is. Should be less irregular after this.

Great idea for a new thread, I really like these ones which touch on multiple aspects of the game. FWIW, I thought elimination threads were always based on single-player, usually deity. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't have the foggiest what is or isn't strong on multiplayer.

Jebel Barkal [12] (15-3) For my first vote, I asked myself: 'which wonder have I never, ever built even in the most niche of situations?' As far as I can remember, Jebel Barkal is the only one. It's just so .... ehhh. If you're building it for the Iron, you presumably don't have any yet, which means you've hard-researched Iron Working – a waste of Science. If you do want iron really, really bad, you may as well just settle more cities until you find some (or focus on horsemen and conquer someone who has it already). And if you're doing a faith game, it also strikes me as a waste of time – much better to chop out Mahabodhi Temple or Hagia Sophia.

Ruhr Valley [16] (15+1) And which wonder do I always try to build? Ruhr Valley. Production is king in 4X games, and Ruhr Valley is the ultimate production boost. It's also super easy to rush Industrialization, so I rarely find myself missing out on it even on Deity.

With such a long early list, first votes may be biased by personal preference, and I'll try to avoid obvious "killer" wonders when you get the perfect location on time to build (*coug* Petra *cough*)

+1) Hanging Gardens (15 >> 16). Maybe not the best wonder overall, and it maybe has not the best press or is not such as obvious choice between the early wonders as the Oracle or the Pyramids, but I'd like to upvote them because I tend to notice their effect. Maybe is just gameplay bias, as I tend to prioritize production improvements over food ones (and also I indulgue on certain settler spam), so I do not have as much food surplus in the early game to reach quickly the housings caps.

-3) Great Lighthouse (15 >> 12). With Colossus already at 9, Great Lighthouse at 15 feels odd. If I feel like going for a coastal wonder after building my first dock, and still have the option to chose between the two, I'll go for the extra trade route instead of the additional movement for ships (which have a quite great movement range already). Only benefit I see for lighthouse it is cheaper, but as it is cheaper for everyone and only one can be built, this can be also a malus too.

Temple of Artemis [17] (16+1) Hold your horses. You say Kilwa, I say Temple of Artemis. Even in isolation, +3 Housing and +4 Food is very powerful that early in the game, making your Artemis city the biggest and most productive city in the world. But add to that the free amenities, especially in an area full of deer, plantations, or the like: jeeeeeez. It's hard to express just how good that city is going to be for the entire rest of the game.

Great Lighthouse [6] (9-3) I agree with @Josephias, if we're going down the anti-naval route then Great Lighthouse deserves to go before Colossus. Naval units are already very mobile, so +1 movement is totally unnecessary. I agree that Colossus is also kinda garbage – that's an awful lot of production for a single trader. But I find myself building it a lot in the Renaissance / Industrial eras since, for some reason, the AI seems to avoid it, and 9 turns for a trader at that point in the game isn't so bad. But I never do the same for Great Lighthouse: it's simply not useful.

@kaspergm, sounds like you're thinking of Mahabodhi Temple. Thats the one that gives 2 free apostles, as well as 2 diplo victory points. In other words – a very solid wonder.

Országház: I really like this one. I usually play peaceful games and selling diplo favour is one of the most reliable ways to boost your income. Országház lets you do that twice as much. Also gains credit for having super flexible positioning requirements.

Panama Canal: The most useless in my eyes. It comes late, it is expensive, it is nearly impossible to place, and the AI loves to build it (usually, to connect two lakes in the middle of the tundra). I like its inclusion in the game for 'roleplay' aspects, but as an actual wonder it is trash.

Temple of Artemis - An incredibly useful wonder for the early game. The bonuses to food and housing are very powerful by themselves, but also throw in a likely one or two extra amenities and you've got yourself an incredible base to build from.

Hermitage - Just a completely meh wonder. The great artist points are negligible and the four great works of art slots are nice, but not themeable and I'd rather just build a couple of art museums instead of waste the production on this trash.

Pyramids - first upvote from me has to go here. They are the reason I am happy to see some desert near my capital city. More builder charges = more everything.

Panama Canal - I can count the amount of times I've been in a position to build this wonder on one hand. Would it ever have been useful even if I did build it though?

Just a suggestion for the next elimination thread: Maybe we should try to avoid to completely eliminate something within the first 24? hours, so that those that don't see the elimination thread immediately have a chance to defend the civ/wonder/ability.
Like in this case Stonehenge was immediately eliminated. Not saying it's a great wonder and I would probably rate it in my bottom 5, but it is worth to point out that it can also be quite useful if you are able to get it. Since the NFP choral music (arguably the best follower belief unless you have very high adjacency holy sites) has become almost impossible to get (even Russia will struggle to get it). Building Stonehenge is one of the few ways you can actually get choral music. It also gives a lot of era score (wonder + first religion) making a classical golden age a lot more likely and it provides some nice adjacency for theater squares later on. Obvously it has the flaws other very early game wonders (high opportunity cost, highly desired by the AI leaving you in a bad position you are not able to build it fast enough), so I can't argue too much with it finishing at the bottom.

Mahabodhi Temple [17] 16+1): Definitely not the best wonder in the game, but I just really like it. It basically gives you the equivalent of 800+ faith (2 apostles). Great for religious and diplomatic victories. Also very helpful in reliquaries games: You might get lucky with the martyr promotion but otherwise you can already send your apostles into enemy territory to lower their health and get ready to suicide them once you finish Mont St. Michel. It also seems the AI doesn't really priorotize it anymore making it one of the easiest wonders to build even on higher difficulties.

Hanging Gardens [10] (13-3): Like Stonehenge and Great Bath almost impossible to get on higher difficulties. And I find the opportunity cost and risk to lose it way to high for the +2 housing and the extra growth. I probably wouldn't even build it if it was still available at turn 60.

Tend to agree early eliminations are not a great thing but Stonehenge is awful - actively detrimental to your Civ!

I really like the criteria that has been established for this game, good job!

Upvote: Mausoleum (16 + 1 = 17) - extra Engineer charge as well as the coastal yieldporn.

Downvote: Panama Canal (3 - 3 = ELIMINATED) too situational and hard to build for little reward that you couldn't get just by building a regular canal in most cases. I feel like if a Wonder has strict placement requirements it should give top tier benefits.

For me, wonders get a big boost if they're not prioritized by the AI. Coastal wonders like Colossus and Great Lighthouse are pretty mediocre, but in my experience it's not uncommon to see them sticking around for several eras even on deity, which makes them more useful than wonders like the Great Bath or Macchu Picchu which are very difficult to build before the AI does.

Golden Gate Bridge [1] (4-3) You can try to sell me on it's appeal bonuses all you want... I probably only have a location where I can actually build this thing in 1 out of every 3 games, and I can probably count the amount of times I've both been able to build it AND it was in a city where I could take advantage of that on one hand.

Mausoleum at Halicarnassus [18] (16+1) Speaking of wonders that are not prioritized and are easy to build, let's upvote Mausoleum. I love all what it does to water tiles, and the extra engineer charges can be huge if you're able to recruit the right ones. Fantastic.
