I still have no luck (or better: I am still not able) playing as Hungary. Mostly no city states at all near my starting region, or they are captured by the AI before I could meet them or even levy their military. So I was never able to use that special ability (playing on level emperor).
You seem to be near all of the city states or none of them. In my game with them (that I quit halfway through) it was me, 6 city-states, and no other nations on my continent.
No 2kqa updates so far this week, but there have been several to the linux and mac test branches in the past two days. Perhaps they're going for simultaneous patches across all three platforms, with the patch to drop tomorrow?

I'm thinking not this week. Now that Cross-platform multiplayer is a thing, they have an onus to release patches simultaneously for those three platforms. It looks like Mac and Linux are playing catch-up to me.

So if you use a spy to breach a dam in a city with the Great Bath wonder in it, all the districts/improvements along the river will still be pillaged. Nice. Yes we can argue about the wisdom of the AI building a dam in a city with the Great Bath.
I'm in love with the Breach Dam operation. It is so satisfying. Probably OP as well, but can't resist.
I'm having more fun with global warming now. I'm setting Disasters to maximum, and I'm playing on a New Small Continents world with 10 players, and so I've got lots of volcanoes.
I'm late in my game, and I'm seeing eruptions, droughts, and flooding all the time, and they're getting worse and worse. Fortunately I've got all my flood barriers built, but my AI friends aren't so lucky as I am.
One thing I wish, is I wish Carbon Recapture could take your CO2 into the negative. Just because I'm not producing ecological damage, why can't I clean up others' messes? I'd think if my neighbors are pumping chemicals into the air, but I have lots of clean up working going on, I should be able to reduce global emissions? It'd be nice if I could save the environment even when the computers couldn't seem to care less, lol.
Has anyone else noticed that if you switch a tile and build a green energy improvement that same turn that it won't provide power to the city the tile just got assigned to? Or is that just me?

You would think that would be a thing. I was able to lower the temperature somehow (I'm guessing by removing all my contributions) but not scrub the other players carbon. I could neither reverse the polar melts nor diminish the severity of the crisis rating (say from level 3 to level 2). Maybe it's more challenging to program than one might suspect?
I did see an AI single handedly win an emergency yesterday in my current game. Of course it was Russia who had a massive military, and was adjacent to the target. I was a little miffed because I wanted credit, but I was the next continent over and didn't get there in time to get any credit.
I've never seen my contribution fall below 0, but even when I keep doing Carbon Recapture projects, I'm not seeing global emissions going down, so I really feel like that project only clears up my own pollution. I don't expect I can restore polar ice caps or something, but it'd be lovely if my nation could at least stabilize things by being really proactive, you know?
I still don't build power plants. I'm finding I can get by just fine without them and wait for clean energy choices. Pollution just happens so fast!
I’ve seen global emissions decline several times in my last game. I had several carbon recapture projects going over an extended time (had several cities with little else to do).
Now if they would move the rock bands sound to the music side of the slider I would be happy. I don't mind the rock band sound, but in games like today when I have a few beers and have my own rock music on in the background, I don't like rock bands interrupting my better rock music. Okay I actually have beastie boys on right now, but I mostly have rock on Mondays.
Now I've done three games in GS. My first game, as the Inca, I have already posted about.
My second game was as the Maori, which were a lot of fun. I was forced to think differently about tile usage and city placement, and found it more challenging to make use of their abilities. I ended up with a strange, stretched out empire, and won a culture victory.
My third game was as Mali, and they are perhaps my favorite so far. For this one, I had increased difficulty to Emperor, which is still not difficult, but means the AI will sort of still be part of the game later on. The game played out very peacefully on my part, as I had alliances with 4 of the 5 AI players throughout most of the game. I had a nice desert start, and very much enjoyed focusing on gold and gold purchasing. The production malus was not too bad, although I did make it harder to grab wonders unless I got some help from Great Engineers. One really annoying thing was how many enemy spies I had siphoning gold at all times in my empire. Another thing which was okay in the start, but got annoying later on, was having to move Reyna around constantly to purchase districts, especially considering the 5 turns it takes to move her. I wish they would have just given Mali the ability to gold purchase districts, or maybe tied it to the Suguba. Housing was a challenge with Mali, but I didn't really mind that. Overall, the game was a lot of fun, and I ended up winning a space race victory.
Has anyone ever been screwed out of their stash of strategic resources?
I had been patiently waiting for my iron to accumulate to 30 so I can upgrade a warrior to swordsman to attack Egypt (whom I'm currently at peace with). On the off turn my stash goes to 0 (it was at 28 about to go to 30). Why? I thought I had inadvertently traded it away, but an autosave reload produced the same results. The only thing was Egypt conquered Buenos Aires during the off turn, whom I only have 2 envoys with (not that it should matter if I'm their Suzerain). So why did my stash go away? This really puts my plans to attack Egypt in disarray. She could wreck me with her UU if I'm not careful.
Just one little bug really ruined my enjoyment of the game. I am Mali, so I'm struggling as is to catch up, and something like this really puts me behind. I was going to remain peaceful, but she forward settled me, and founded a religion which could threaten mine (going for religious victory). I'm really miffed at this.
Edit: I'm just going to restart this game. She has too many of her uu out. I got royally screwed over by this game. I actually think I'm done for the game, I no longer want to play this game today.

Were you possibly building another warrior, perhaps? And already knew IW? As soon as iron reserves reached 20, your city may have requisitioned it and upgraded its build from warrior to swordsman.
Edit: oops, now I saw you had 28, so maybe not that
