Also, I don't like it how "capital cities" was given as a clue. Everybody outside America was thinking of capitals of actual countries, rather than counties, townships etc..

Capital city is more than just national--could be a state capital or a provincial capital. Though, for future purposes, clarification as to which would be helpful, I agree. The pictured city is Lincoln, Nebraska, and AFAIK, Lincoln, NE is the only Lincoln that fits as a capital. Choxorn is the winner, unless that was not Choxorn's intended guess. If not, then it goes to Arian.
