What list is the medieval one based upon? That'd interest me...

The blue square is on Montreal not Quebec City.
This list looks an awful lot like the city states in Civ 5. Red is militaristic, Blue is maritime and green is cultured.
Red square in in the UK is over Glasgow or Edinburgh.
And just to clear something up, I think Montreal's dot is too far east and north - It really does look like Quebec City.

@classical_hero Don't play Civ 5? It's not that bad (it's not the reinvention of Christ as well), but the Concept of City States is something of the better things. It is actually quite a cool idea.
Sums up so much of Civ 5the idea ... is a good one even if the implementation has been lacking.
