Plus that data is only up to 1995, so that is very much old. I wish people would put more effort into some of these maps, rather than just using wiki data all the time, since it is not always accurate.

Here is a much better method of getting the data. http://www.idea.int/vt/

I have just gone to the website and got the data for all nations.

Both Brasil and Mexico have compulsory voting, why is Mexico none or no data (which is stupid, btw, there being no data is very different than 0%, differentiate them) and Brasil has a similar vote turnout than Portugal (for which, in the last election, for the legislatives, in June, only 58% of voters actually voted)?

This map was poorly done.

Not to go off topic, but the Mongols returned to Afghanistan! :run:

The absence of the map is toooo loooooonng, it seems not fits the topic ;)

A very, very easy map is now complete, quick solve it and make a new one.

Three things that are present in Egypt?

-Sects of Christianity? Like Coptic and Orthodox and so on. Seems unlikely as there's no USA/Europe.
-Things in the flag like "eagles", "stars", "writings". Hmm, no, not really...
- Something about Civilization? (but what would Jordan represent?)

It's not as easy as it sounds.

Obviously, you are a very fine "retroactive cartographer":goodjob:

Yes, you're right, there is something to do with civilization.:egypt:

There are three colours, yellow, blue and green (in ascending order).

Does white mean neither of the 3 ?

White means 'none'.

The next tip will be promulgated tomorrow.
This is a really, really easy one. Even easier than the 'capital' one I 've posted before.

Well I noticed that Mexico and Peru are coloured, which would conform to Aztecs and Incas, and Egypt, India and China are also coloured, but I'm not sure exactly what relevance that is.

First monuments raised?

blue: before 3000 bc
yellow: before 2000 bc
green: before 1000 bc

that makes no sense to overlap.

Just to be clear, with civilization I meant the game series this forum is based upon... ;) Is it that or the cultural concept of civilization?

If it's the game, Brazil and Jordan seem to be the things that are off...

That sounds like a good idea, but that doesn't explain the cross-hatching. (Mesopotamia would likely be the yellow triangle then.)

If cross-hatching represents multiple "ancient cultural sites", then Britain should be yellow and blue to represent both Stonehenge and Skara Brae. That doesn't explain the green Lombardy or the missing colour in France for Lascaux caves.

ah, Is it:

yellow: 7 Ancient World Wonders,
blue: 7 medieval World Wonders (according to Wikipedia, a list exists, but I've never even heard of it...
green: 7 modern world wonders (see google ;))

Absolutely correct, BINGO!

that makes no sense to overlap.

Both. Both civilization and Civilization (Great Wonders in Civilization series).

You came closer, but still on the 'monument' level...
Don't give up and try again later!
