Fits in perfectly with the character I have designed :D.

Talking about that, I have made all of the characters now (took me 8 hours! :eek: ) and I just need to equip them, and we should be off.

That should be around tomorrow morning...

You don't even need to know the rules :D.

All you need to do is roleplay the character I give you (it will have to be a medic, as that's all that's left, sorry).

That link takes you to the GURPS WW2 expansion rules, although it is for a previous edition of GURPS, the 4th edition core rules (lite version) can be found by following the link on post 1 of CivCubes "CFC Conquest - an RPG powered by GURPS Lite".

The rules are really simple, althought they look complex at first, just read them through and muck around creating characters- it really helps getting used to the rules (as well as playing it!).

If you want to play as another character, or have any more questions, please PM me.

Oh, and I need you to give me your character's name, nationality (has to be non-Axis), nickname (if he/she has one) and why they are in the Penal Legion :).

EDIT: On second thoughts, as we now have 8 participants, I will allow FriendlyFire to create his own character (as he is an experienced GM, i'm sure he will make his character for roleplating and depth).

Hmmmmm, if you want, instead of being a medic (no guns, and he is meant to be old and respected) you could be the driver, who went in for the same crime.

Joeb's character has turned into a veteran rather than a driver, so it should be ok...

Yes, I considered that, I thought it would give your character a "nice" twist.

Check out the rules for it in the GURPS WW2 Lite edition.
 
Friendlyfire- expanzer commander

Nationality: German / French decent (mixed blood) born in Alasce lorriane proviance

History: Servered as part of Rommels ghost division and 21st panzer diviosn Africa Korp, Under direct command of rommel made contact with allies during Africa campaign, eventually defecting to allied side. Served as part of the intelligence department and eventually an in non combat role with British commandos.

Crime: striking an Officer, desertion of post, disobeying lawful order

Bio:

Harry Mackay, born London, 1912.
Worked as greengrocer, joined army in 1940, in time to be routed from Dunkirk.
(I'm assuming htis is post 1944).
On D-Day, landed on Sword Beach, and his platoon got seperated from the company.
Mackay, despite being the sapper, blowing away a number of German casemates, also proved to be a good shot, never parting with his Lee Enfield.
His platoon, being separated from the company, managed to wander upon a German entrenchment system, which was heavily fortified.
The Germans spotted them almost immediately, and opened fire with their high-power MG42s, cutting down a number of soldiers.
The officer, Capt. Sam Hopkins, wa sim possession of all the maps, and papers. Upon being fired upon, he turned, and started fleeing, attempting to surrender.
Mackay then plantes a bullet between his shoulderblades, killing himn, but saving the company.
