Either that or a small Sid map - which would be incredibly hard I think.

I'm up for a few tries @ deity on a standard continents if anyone else cares to. The "each player picks a civ & playes a few" seems to work pretty well.

We will want loads of food and water.

As a lurker, that's sounds good to me, sounds cooler and has a better ring than AWD Standard continents. But do whatever you want.

That will be another huge challenge as we could see how tough AWDG on standard was. Are you going to start a new thread, handy 19? Then I would try my luck with some starts, the last time round I was lucky...
I would go for selected opposition since it proved somewhat helpful.
