Harder AI 2

Hi, i´m new in civ. I tried to play with your mod, but game doesnt start if using your mod. I don´t know if i installed it properly...

After unzipping and copying your mod (all the mod folder) into mod folder of the game I started the game chose your mod in menu and tried to create a game. Then the game started to load new game, but it came back to the main menu while there was added a new music stream from the loading screen. Simply two music streams plays over themselves... When i repeated to cretae another game. The same thing happened. Returned to the main menu and another music stream added - third, fourth etc... depends how many tries of creating new game i did. Hope u understand...

How can i fix it? Game is already patched with Fall patch. No other mod was choosen.

Hi Mist When you copied the mod into your documents/mygames/civilization 6/mods folder. Did you put all the files into the folder separately, or did you only move the top folder Harder AI over? You only have to move the Harder AI folder over (that contains all the scripts)

Just like you say i copied whole Harder AI folder into Mods folder. (C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods\Harder AI(v1.6))

Had exactly the same the same problem and uncompressed the file directly into the mod folder as well

I used the Harder AI mod to do some testing. Although this mod wasn't designed for AI battles it did have some interesting results. thanks for the mod!

I have the same issue as a few others. I just installed it today and when I try to start a new game it'll try but quickly kick me back to the main menu. I have made sure only this mod and the official DLC is selected. I'll play without this mod for now.

Read the description then. If you don't like it, then don't use it. A modder taking their time and energy to help the community doesn't need snarky comments about the name of the mod. -helpful constructive comments are great, trolling not so much

And if fixing the tech tree improves the AI performance, then there is also a lack of basis and logic in the comment

When said Modder speaks of other Modders like this which is seriously unprofessional.. Then, no offense, he does not deserve much kudos and considering how much he actually borrowed from others... meh. at best is what he can get from me.

OK so AI+ is official piece of crap like wow they not smarter they just pump out units and don't settle i have looked a the codes for day if you want better AI Delnar's AI clean up is better also the crazy scottsman omnimbus mod works well he is reputable modder for civ so is Delnar. Im not intergrating any AI+ only using those two from now on because they work and doing any big changes to AI till SDK is done is well impossible. So right now im just examining new version probably wont be out till i look at the main files more first. Also try to learn more about the mod info files too because AI+ imports files for some reason and well others don't. I think it just confuses the AI because they easy to blow by in Renaissance. I need some advice here also like the value's in the file operation.xml and tactics.xml.

Not just that, the guy pointing out the name, is in fact, correct.

Mods should contain what they're supposed to enhance -not- a bunch of other stuff that's irrelevant - you want to make a modpack? DO IT, but name it properly as to avoid compatability issues. This is common god damn practice within Mod and Software Development communities it's hardly a new phenomena and definitely not something you bash other people over when they point out the problem (and rightfully so).

Nope this mod just haven't been updated to work with Winter Update and I'm not sure the author is actually going to bother seeing he thinks it's "finished"...

I suggest looking into AI + as it's continually updated and actually works really well !
