has anyone seen this graphic effect

I keep getting this graphic effect with some games running dx11, if i load a different game immediately after i do not get the effect, so i don't think its heat related any ideas?, I have attached a screen shot, do not get the effect with dx9

Known problem (just search the forum for "gray").

Playing in windowed mode seems to help on some systems, and you should also take a look in here.

Nope, thats another overheating/failing 8600

Or more precisely, corrupted geometry data, which most likely is caused by overtaxed video RAM (Though it could be anything from PSU over mobo, system RAM to the video card, or a combination of those).
You could try to clean the video card heatsink, get more fresh air to the video card and/or underclock your VRAM.


Edit: Ouch, 2560x1600, poor 8600
It's really not designed to handle that, and will run out of local memory, so you should also check the system RAM by running memtest for a few hours.
