Have you ever done anything that was mischievous? :mischief:
I remember that in my first year of university i was in London and went to the madame Tussaud's museum of wax figures. For those who do not know it it is a museum where they keep wax statues of real figures, which are very well-done.
There was a section of the museum dedicated to horror, and there there were the victims of Jack the Ripper. But there was no Jack the Ripper statue, since his identity was unknown.
There was no Jack the Ripper? Well i fixed that :D I stood infront of one of the victims, very still, and with a stare. My clothes could pass for something out of the era. Soon enough some people started looking at me and take pictures. Then, as they were too deeply involved in examining my figure, i suddently would turn my head towards them, causing them to step back in fright :)
I still remember those moments as some of the most carefree and refreshing ones of my life. There was even a jewish tourist shouting "Mench!" at me, alarming his friends that i was not a statue...

And you, have you ever done anything mischievous? :)

The Jack the Ripper thing I went through at Madame Tussauds was complete with strobe lighting, and its whole point was for random wax figures (actually actors) to jump out at you pretending they were Jack the Ripper. Scared the hell out of the girl in front of me, who was stalked for a few metres, before being tapped on the back by this statue. It was the strobe lighting that really did it, though.

And no, apart from prank calls a few years back, I haven't ever been 'mischievous'.

When I lived in university dorms, I would take the "Wet Floor" sign and stick it in the shower stalls for laughs.

I totally set up my buddy to take the fall for me in preschool. That was pretty much my peak.

When I was in second grade, I used to hate doing homework. Every other day my teacher would collect all of our homework and put in in her desk's drawer. To avoid getting in trouble, I would sneak into the classroom during lunch, take out her stack of homework, and erase the name off this really smart kid's homework and write in mine. My teacher doesn't hand back the homework and doesn't really tell us how we do until the end of the semester. So every other day, I would do the same thing until the end of the semester. I never got caught but I feel bad about it to this day. I really did not think about anyone but myself, I wasn't trying to flunk the other student at all, I just didn't want to do homework.

Btw, I never figured out what happened to the other kid, I don't even remember him.

Are unauthorized experiments in science class mischievous?

@ varwnos: you really like that painting, eh? :D

only bad thing I ever did was stealing a tenner from me mum's purse when I was eight-ish. to this day that haunts me and that was almost thirty years ago. it isn't even mischievous but rather being a self-centered brat, really.

All the time. What's life without a little bad behavior?

On the last day of a certain year in high-school (grade 11 maybe?), me and a friend found an open math/computer lab.

It was a fairly small room, with computers set up against all 3 walls.. So if you looked into the room, you'd see computers straight ahead, to the left, and to the right.

In any case, it was an opportunity we dared not miss - so we loaded up a different explicit pornographic image on each of the computers, and turned each monitor so that it was facing the door perfectly.

We had to of course make sure to bypass security on the machines and make it so that the images were loaded up without us having to log in - this was before the time of windows 95 and the internets, so everyting was DOS. It wasn't hard to do, if you knew what you were doing (you could reboot and ctrl-c your way into mischief)

Either way, we finished loading the porn, and took off.. On our way out of the building, we heard some screams. We're not sure if that was related or not, but we'd like to think it was!

Oh, you said mischievous? Well, uh, yeah!

Always..

Pratting about is my base mode of existance.

Perhaps you could both expand and give us some examples?

Meh. It's not much. I accidentally marked this girl on the nose with a marker, and she started crying. I didn't want to get in trouble, so I crawled under our really-low-but-wide table (or maybe a series of them). The girl's eyes were closed from the bawling, so she didn't see me go under, or notice that me friend had wandered into where I was standing.... she was just pointing and screaming, too hysterical to explain anything. Of course my friend protested, but he was a five-year old boy, of course he was innocent  Meanwhile, everyone was distracted and didn't notice me crawling out from underneath the table. No harm done, really.

I hid from the cops in the woods.

Nevermind what stupid 20 year old thing I did while drunk to get there.

Also, PG-13!

I sometimes participate in an activity known as "nuggeting", in which you swipe a friend's backpack, take out the books, turn the backpack inside out, put the books back in, and zipper it back up, rendering it rather nugget-like. Then you place it back where you found it. It's a silly childish prank but it's funny.
