I've lurked for a long time and just poping in to say hello. I'm a Mac user on 9.2 OS (OMG!!!) because I don't want to partition with my Adobe software. I'm not a tech genius. That's why I love the Mac

I'll upgrade if I can't get C3C. So no shots about not having OS X+.

BTW: Can anyone point out to me (link or otherwise) what is in the 1.29 patch. I'm confused about it.

Hello and welcome.

1.29 fixed some bugs in 1.21, which in turn fixed some bugs in 1.14. If you want to edit and customise then the editor only works with 1.21. If you want to play in the Game of the Month competition or in Succession games then you'll need 1.29. 1.29 is also much more stable (for me on OS X) then 1.21 was. I hardly played 1.14 so I can't compare it with that.

But it's not a big deal to keep and try both. You can install 1.14 off the CD, then update it to 1.21 using the free download, then make a copy on your hard drive and update that one to 1.29b2 using the other free updater.

Thanks Alan for the response. I did down load the 1.29b2 and have really like the renegotiation option after 20 turns.

I hate how we don't have anyhting listed in the diplomatic screen like the PCers.

Also really like the Wake/Fority all option.

I've had no problems with anything yet... Goign through a Napoleonic/Civil War with Greece...

Is there any new hotkeys I should know about and if so, where is a link to print/download them?
