I wasn't worried, I was quite pleased! It might be Christmas before anything actually gets sent at the current rate of progress (well, 100 hours anyway), so I am hoping the WU is not an important one.

So, 11 hours of mine by the looks of things :)

80% done on my first one.

Heh, it's looking like 60 odd hours for me... so it's rubbish

You might just have gotten a very big/tough WU, according to grid.org they can vary greatly in size.

This one is 450 ligands, 72% complete after 44 hours. Is that big/small/average?

As this isn't going to get finished before I finish work for Easter, if I leave the computer on, will it send this WU, download the next one, and start working on it, all automatically?

Cool. In fact, ideal. I'm hoping that if I leave this damn thing on for long enough, it'll destroy itself and I can have something a little more modern. So I can play 3D flash games at lunch :)

It seems to me that no matter if I set the priority to low or high, the CPU used is never more than 50-52% - that means, to me at least, that the program can't take advantage of my CPU's full power, it just can't(it's the same CPU usage, more or less, even if I'm not running any other program at all).

That is because (I bet) you have a dual CPU machine.

Each process (read: program) itself can only ever use 1 CPU unless the application is multi-threaded, (which this one obviously isn't). 1 CPU in a 2 CPU system is 50% of the total. :)
