Help Mr. Dictator get fat.

the thing is, i don't look as insanely skinny as i sound.

the only parts of me that look like it are my wrists and legs. my wrists are tiny.

but i'm going to start lifting weights, slamming protein shakes, and all that this summer. starting in a few weeks.

If you set your mind to it, you can move your body weight to where ever you want. In middle school I was really fat, 6'2" 235lbs about 23% body fat. I got into working out a lot and cut back portions, mainly cardio and little weights, the weight melted off until I was down to 6'3" 150lbs 4% body fat. I decided that was to skinny so I cut back cardio and increased weight and protein consumption. As of right now I am 210lbs, still 6'3" with about 10% body fat. It takes some dedication to get to your goals, but it can be done with the right mind set.

Yeah, my game plan (unless someone suggests something better) is to eat more and eat better balanced meals, and start working with Charles Atlas' Dynamic Tension method for now, and when school gets out and I have the time I'll start going to the gym regularly, following MobBoss' "high weight, low reps" philosophy.

I should probably start running too...

You with me Mr. Dictator?

Idk if any of the lessons are online, I haven't checked. If not, then I suppose I could send the info to you. It's a progressive system, that changes a little bit (adding certain exercises and taking some away) every week.

The nice thing about it is that it requires no equiptment whatsoever, although it is no substitute for full on weight lifting.

hmm...explain "send some info"

PM, or maybe email, since it's so lengthy to write out ALL the details

I could just basically describe the exercises and requirements here though if you'd rather (although not quite now since it would take a bit and I'm a tad busy)

hmm...you can just PM them.

or if anyone else wishes to see them, just break it up into a few posts here. idk, up to you.

Well idk, is anyone else interested?

Then I'll get them up some time this week, I won't have time tonight

Ok, so maybe not "fat" but i need more meat on me.

i'm currently 6 foot and 120 pounds and all because of god's grace and metabolism he gave me.

anyways, i'm considering just a few protein shakes a day and working out next semester.

i just need to get to 140 or around there.

thanks in advance.

No worries Ben Weider is your friend.

@ Nylan, heh I'm interested. Starting a routine as well. So far I'm running 3 miles about thrice a week, doing pull-ups, sit ups, push ups, crunches and soon weights. My goal is do run 3 miles in 20 min or less (at 30) and do 65 push ups/sit ups in 2. I think these are the standards to get into Basic Trainingin the army, and though I'm not joining, if its good enough for the army it should be good enough for me to just get in better shape!

...question knowledeable guys, (MobBoss...others) whats a good weight to start at for strength lifting? (on average since it really depends on what one can actually lift I s'pose.)
