Help Mr. Dictator get fat.

mcdonalds transforms the world into fat people. apparently.

I remember when the first mcdonald in my country opened, everyone was pretty skinny. Now 10 years alter fat ugly people everywhar!
 
I'm 5'11'' and 141. I'm slowly gaining more weight, I've begun to work out again.

there's another thread to tell us all how big you are, this one is for tips on gaining weight.
 
Ok, so maybe not "fat" but i need more meat on me.

i'm currently 6 foot and 120 pounds and all because of god's grace and metabolism he gave me.

anyways, i'm considering just a few protein shakes a day and working out next semester.

i just need to get to 140 or around there.

Wow 120 is really skinny at 6 feet tall. I find it hard to believe, actually, I was 135, and looking back, I'm disgusted at how skinny I was.

140 is still really skinny, like borderline unhealthy. 120 is definately unhealthy.

You don't need protien shakes at your wieght, just eat more. Force it down if you have to, but don't make yourself sick. Eat 4 full meals a day (don't be afraid of McDonalds and Taco Bell either), and 2-3 snacks. Also lift wieghts, there is lots of info on this on the internet. www.crossfit.com offers a good program and has all kinds of instructional videos, and scales very well. www.t-nation.com has some good info, too, but ignore the message board.
 
Don't be afraid of Taco Bell? Taco Bell is terrifying. If you don't live alone, the people you live with might be afraid of Taco Bell.

Its hard to beat the GSB meal, and those new taquitos are good too. Like 1500 calories for under 5 bucks. They have all those half pound burritos too, for like 1$ or something. Thats how you bulk.

Oh yah, pop tarts make good snacks. 400 calories per package, and they are tasty.
 
KFC mashed tater bowls. I credit those to atleast 30 of the 60+ pounds I've added in the last year

Yah, I could use a couple more pounds.
But my parents say muscle is what I really need.

I'd say just eat a bit more than usual, but not too much that'll make you sick.
 
No need to get fat. Fat is bad, being fat is bad and a curse.

Once you start getting older, the pounds will start coming on and you will have a hard time getting rid of them. Wishing you were heavier is just crazy. Enjoy your slenderness while you have it.

This is what everyone told me, and I believed them. I kept waiting to "fill out" like everyone said I would. (120 lbs at 6 feet is not slender anyway, its dangerously skinny)

It never happened. (I am still kind of young though, I'll be 25 in October)

It wasn't until I started lifting and made a real effort to eat that I made gains. I went from 6 feet 135 lbs to 6 feet 170 lbs in a year. My overall body composition is MUCH better now than before.

Its hard to gain the muscle, but once its there, its there and takes minimal effort to keep up.

My advice to the OP is to take the next 2-3 years to lift and eat and get the size he wants, the right way. It will take some sacrifice and work, but its not that tough. Do it now, while you're still young and growing and get it over with.

I agree. I admit I'm probably all muscle since I'm a runner, but I'm 6ft. and 153 pounds. I am skinny as a rail, no joke. Everyone thinks I'm anorexic. I can't imagine how skinny you must be (not to make you feel bad or anything Mr. Dictator:) )

Sounds good, but I wouldn't know. I'm pretty much in same situation as MD.
