Help us test these test beta URLs

I'm still seeing some pretty hefty delays, even with the beta links. Not in the minute range, but 10+ seconds, and while it's not all the time now, they are very noticeable when they hit. I checked to make sure it wasn't just my connection, other sites ran regular speed.

I did notice once it starts to display, it finishes much faster than before. No watching elements of the page fill in one by one.

I've been using http://forumsbeta.civfanatics.com for a few days now, it's definitely faster.

All the links work fine for me. I'll try using one of the links for normal usage for a while except for uploads.

I have been using the beta links for some days now. And its mostly fine. One thing though - which is probably related to uploads: trying to open stuff others attached to their posts does not work,

e.g. the attachment in this post:

won't open while the one in this one:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=6930413&postcount=3
does.

That's normal. The attachments are only on old server. On Tuesday we will synch them over to new server. That's why I posted an announcement about disabled file uploads.

I thought so - but wanted to report it in any case.
Now something else happened:
I cannot access the User CP on the beta site anymore (UserCP on forums.civfanatics.com works). on forumsbeta.civfanatics.com it gives a url not found error:

Not Found

The requested URL /usercp.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

edit: d'oh thats just the bookmarks I made when I started trying the betalinks - the beta usercp was migrated to a different url - so nevermind

It's only started in the last couple of hours. If I click on forums.civfanatics.com then I can enter the site.

I've just got that as well. Clicking on the forums.civfanatics.com link visible in the screenie worked, but for example the link to this thread is http://forumsbeta.civfanatics.com/forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=278264
