Good day everyone,

I had a short question (might be big, since i have NO clue), but anyway (might even be stupid), here it is:

'HOW do i open the saves? For instances the winner of last GOTM, i'd love to watch his game but i dont understand with what i should open the download of his file (the one i get when i click on the date he ended the game) and what does reviewing mean? Does it mean i can see EVERY detail of EVERY turn he did, or that i can see the turn by turn city building and wonder completions?

Thanks in advance!

Grt Mark

Hi, welcome.

The final saves that are posted on the Results pages can be loaded in the same version of Civ3 that they were played in. You can then look around at the end position. Not a really educational experience! You can also run the Replay for the game.

For an altogether better option, go to the Civ Replay page in any modern browser except Internet Explorer, select the game, and choose one or two players. You can then run an animated replay of the games those guys played, complete with events lists and statistics graphs. Each map is clickable to allow you to see the history of any city, and you can run/stop/single step the animation.

Let me know what you think of it :)
