Hello all.
The history department needs citizen help. Since the discovery of writting is, well, a bit away from our grasp I have decided to use another history technic -oral traditions. We need stories! what do you remember about the foundation of our cities? where were you when the aztecs entered our sight? do you have stories of great heroes and leaders? Please share with us your past, so we can all remember it.
Thank you.

The Historical Statistics Branch of the History Department would also like to make a request. We need longer turn chats! The last few chats have been so short, it hasn't been worth updating the stats! Make chats longer!

After a lot of thought, and discussions with the elders, I've counted close to 100 generations since Bavaria was founded. I was very young at the time, as you might imagine. Mostly, I remember the green grass, the blue skies, and those damn cattle. No one really explained to me where exactly the Fanatiks originated, but it must have been from good stock, as we've lasted all these years and thrived as a Nation.

As I learned to hunt and fish, I became independant and started scouting the territory surrounding Bavaria. I was, indeed, across the valley on a ridgetop, watching as our troops encountered the Aztecs. This was of great importance to me, as I was on a regular scouting and was amazed to see this highly trained, swift-moving troop of Aztecs, proving that we were not alone on this world.

As a people we have seen barbarian attacks which have taken our men, we've met many nations as their warriors and scouts pass through our lands, and we have become suspicious of these nations to the point of arming our men. As I write this, we are now building a great Army of Swordsmen to pounce on those despicable Aztecs, who introduced us to the thought of new nations.

Good, Cyc! so, did everyone started fishing and the sort? have we had any great leaders? someone said to me they remember a great woman...a Chieftess of sorts..do you? they also told me of a great warrior who could amass the troops in no time...they said he was all mighty...

Guess. Too late. It's the History of the Jedi Council. I will post it tomorrow, if you like it.

Yes, very much so! do you have all the names and such or is it wrapped in mistery and intrigue?

A long, long time ago in well this galaxy, there was a barbarian that attacked a seven year old boy. The boy told the barbarian to go away, and he did. The boy didn't know why the barbarian left, but he thought probally the barbarian had a change of heart. Two years later, the barbarian returned with 20 to 30 of others. While the boy was looking for some lost sheep, the barbarian and his men destroyed the boy's village and left no one alive. At that very moment, the boy felt a sharp pain in his heart. He knew something was wrong, so he ran back to the village. One of the barbarians saw him and ran after him with his axe. The boy, with no other choice, was going to try to grab the axe from the 200 pound man, before he could swing at him. However, something better happened. The axe came out of the man's hand and went into the boy's hand. The two were 10 feet away from one another, when this happened. The man started to run away, but the boy ran faster, leaped over him, and landed the axe in the man's head. When the others saw this, they ran away. This boy's name was Zarn.
Another 10 years passed, and Zarn was a man. He had created a weapon that he found out about in his dreams. It had power that no other weapon could compare. It looked like a simple sword handle, but when used properly, a glowing light that could penetrate through everything was formed. He found the barbarians that raided and destroyed his home village and killed them all. Zarn now relized that these powers came from a Force, which was unknown to most people. That's what he called this power as well. He also called himself a Jedi, because his village was called Jedina and that was what the people that lived there were called. He gave a new meaning to the term, though. It now was used to identify the one who had the power from the Force.
Another 4 years later, Zarn meet this man named Almightyjosh or AJ. AJ was brighter than most people. Zarn gave him a test, which AJ succeeded without even knowing that he was being tested. Zarn told him about the Force, and AJ became his apprentice, or padawan. Zarn was his master. It was only 3 years later that AJ became a master of Jediism like Zarn. Several more people followed the ways of the Jedi. Zarn was constantly fighting barbarians to protect the innocent. The others were always happy with Zarn as their master, because Zarn had contributed so much to them. Later, the Jedi built their own temple near the capital of their nation, Fanatika. Years later, AJ disappeared, and the Council mourned. They knew he was alive, but they did not know where he was, and they didn't know if they would see him again. Despite this, more joined the Jedi Council to help out the innocent and the nation of Fanatika as a whole. Now, they are the protectors of the nation...

So, was it bad, good, okay, horrible, or anything else? I would really like feedback, because I can always alter the story. I did ruish through it to see what opinions were first. Sorry about the delay, EA. ;)

edit- saw some erors that I corrected.

yet they dont have proper cloaks and i am teaching my master to spell my name but other than that going okay

Was my story too horrible to even respond to?

No, Lord Master Zarn. It was a good sub-plot to the history of Fanatika.

It wasn't horrible, it was quite good actually! So, how is are the Jedi organized? just one grand master? who is next in command? what are your official duties as a Jedi? what is this force you speak of? what happends when a Jedi dies? do Jedi die?

The Jedi Council is where the Jedi plan things
I am the only Grand Master
All the Masters are next in Command (I'm thinking about making CivGeneral 2nd in command)
The Jedi gets a funeral like everyone else.
Jedi only die of unnatural causes. They don't die of disease or old age.
