HOF III MAINTENANCE

The recent server migration of the entire site has resulted in a temporary HOF III outage. Upgrades are happening simultaneously to all the Halls of Fame, and it's going to take some time. It might be multiple weeks before I can start accepting submissions again.

It might not be a huge interruption for an older HOF like this where I can go weeks without seeing a submission, but your patience is appreciated. Don't let the current 404 page get you down - we're working on it.

As I have updates, I'll share them here. Thank you.

I'm sorry to report there's still no ETA on HOF restoration. The work is considerably more complicated than it first looked.

Even though every HOF was impacted by the forced server migration and knocked offline at the same time, it does not appear that all will return simultaneously. Restoration work on HOF IV seems to be happening at a faster pace. You might see it come back online before HOF III or V.

You may have have heard that the Civ IV GOTM site will soon be restored (hopefully!) thanks to excellent work by @DynamicSpirit, I can confirm that work is ongoing for the Hall of Fame and is progressing well. We are updating the code to address various issues including security and performance and to bring the site up to modern standards so it will take a bit longer but should be well worth it. The Civ IV HOF site will be the first to be restored but we are hopeful that Civ III and Civ V will follow shortly thereafter.
