No problem, I know what you were talking about.Oops, I meant to say #568. See the screenshot above, where the leader heads are about 2x the size of the tech icons.

It really depends couple things: Can we mess with the leaderhead widget size. What happens when you need two rows of tech icon with a smaller leader head. I don' think I have ever seen it go to three rows. I would hate to break the best mod we got.I can see three sensible combinations:
1. Large leaders, large techs (advantage: for the vision impaired).
2. Large leaders, small techs (advantage: two lines to display more techs).
3. Small leaders, small techs (advantage: twice as many leaders visible).
The ideal would be a way to select any of these three. But if I could have only #2 or #3, I would definitely pick #3.
Yes. We're still taking 1.61.008 submissions until Christmas, so .009 will be legal for a few weeks longer. We would encourage people however to upgrade as soon as they have no active games. Will games played in 1.61.009 still be accepted?
Did you install the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0? If that doesn't fix it please let me know what the error is.Thanks for the aknowledgement for my translation.![]()
But i got a problem:![]()
i DL map finder 1.3, installed and it won't work.
It installes correctly (apparently), and i managed to start it once from a fresh new game, but no way to launch it to set parameters, and no way to see some savefile. More precisely, it saves only the last map.
It's strange, 'cause i know it usually works fine.
My PC is a normal Win XP, civ4 and warlords run fine with HOF mod, apart this.
EDIT
Sorry, i've right now DL the override.txt file, pasted in MF dir, and now it seems to work
NO, just opens MApFinder, but it doesn't work
no multiple saves, no chance to load a file in it
it gives an error and self-closes
We know about the bug. It is currently a low priority fix since it is not producing spoiler information and the code is quite complex to debug.Second problem:
in GotM13, i've seen in F4 tech Nationalism as "can research" when all AIs already has it.
Before you ask me i forgot to take a save.
Take a look here. Let me know if that doesn't fix your problem.I am not able to run the mapfinder 1.3
After installing it says it it set the paths to default...
And then, when mapfinder should start, it says:
"Civ4 Map Finder has encountered a problem and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I have installed .Net 2.0.
I installed, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.
I've looked around here to find a solution and watched the readme.
It only saves when it meets one of the conditions in the rule file. What rule file are you using? Did you modify the default.rul using the VB app? Thanks for the answer.
Yes i got .net 2.0 and 1.1 installed (lot of apps requires them)
After a PC restart things go as follow:
1- i manage to run MF from civ4, but it does NOT produces multiple saves
2- if i understand correctly, the main use of MF are mulpiple saves, to let you choose the best (???) starting position avoiding to continuosly load a game
3- the save produced was: a civ4 savegame, a txt and a jpg
4- if (2) is correct, it should produce a set for every attempt it does, then it should has produced 3 sets in my test
It looks like the options screen is much to small vertically for some reason. The option is still there, just you need to scroll down using the bar on the right hand side. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm not quite sure how me missed that!So you fixed the domestic advisor in 2.008.003 - but got rid of it altogether in 1.61.010 (it along with the turn counter are no longer in the options screen
) is this on purpose?

Also I just got a shiny new laptopand obviously the first thing I did was install civilization and HOF-Mods. Now the only problem I have is that the MapFinder Utility won't start. MapFinder works fine ingame but the Utility crashes citing some problem with
system.net.sockets.socket
I got .Net2.0 as required
